When meeting new hmong people...

Isn't there something rather amusing about meeting a new person, who's hmong?

Well in one situation, I met this guy (friend of my cousin's...connections? haha) and he just got to the point! He asked for name, age, last name, single or taken, and of course "can i have yo numba?" hahahaha needless to say I didn't feel the need to talk with this guy any longer.

So my question is, what do you find interesting/amusing about meeting a new hmong person?

Haha well my cousins are as whitewashed as me and don't have that many hmong friends so I don't meet anyone knew often.
But when I do meet new people I try to be as nice as possible to them

But when we got new classes in school, there was this girl.
So I sit at the hmong table in art class (teacher let us sit wherever).
And one day she asked if I knew someone named "Yelemy"
And that is one of my cousin's name
So I said yeah
But in my head I was thinking "How does she know that? Stalker much?" Lol
Turns out she is in my cousins youth group.
And being a great cousin, my cousin talks about me alot!

Usally they ask for my age which

is my Mom's friends that are hmong and everytime I come to ask

my mom something *Boom* they ask me if I'm the youngest and

what grade I am but unfortunatly I'm the youngest of Ten People

That's a big family not really to me and later when I meet a girl

thats hmong She would say hi or I would for me I usally ask what

their last name and name is
