I'd seen the other thread about this, but I have to say I like this one's angle. I had honestly never thought about the alternate universe factor for this. My God! Their world must never have known the joy of Adult Swim, or Fruits Basket, or Yu-Gi-Oh! Wait, that last one wouldn't have been so bad, but still...
So, it is true that Saban was behind it. I've heard some people say that it wasn't actually them.

Saban refused to 'take the credit', but most people who did the research say that the company who pitched it was an adopted subsidary of them, if not outright a Saban company itself. 3nodding

I'm sorry but I personally would not want to see it. I wasn't very pleased with how they did the characters and such. Personally, I would've wanted to see PGSM more than that.

Sorry about continued thred I posted about this before I read your post. But OH god. I havent seen that trailer in sooo long. It was soo funny. rofl I thought it was Jupiter in the wheel chair!?! Everyone seems to think it was someone else.
