There she was, a tiny black and pink cub, perched on a rock in all her fierce, diminutive glory, ready to spring upon the unsuspecting victim. She was a fierce demonling, indeed she was, and she was ready to prove it to this snivelling little scoundrel. Hah! Such a fool never stood a chance against her! Wiggling her rear, she prepared to pounce upon the brown mouse feeding in the grasses, all unaware of its peril.
"It's going to get away..." A musical voice chimed in, as a black and purple cub, her eyes pools of deep ebon, made her way up to the predator and her squeaking prey. As a seer, Kifatamu rather delighted in making the lives of others miserable. Even those within the pride were subject to her vicious whims. And though this little lass was part of them, she had such a hideous shade of pink splashed all over her coat...a grand excuse to be obnoxious. "I can see it."
And true to the other's words, the mouse looked up, squealed in abject terror...and fled the scene, and though Tiis tried to clamp her paws down on the fugitive, it was to no avail, and she huffed, narrowing blue eyes accusingly at the dark female. "Meanie!" She grumbled, "If you hadn't said that, I'dda caught it!" Pointing out that it wasn't as though the other female had magical powers or anything, she'd just used the 'warning' to accomplish her purpose.
Kifa only laughed, "Well yes, if I saw it, I should make it come true...cuz that's how it is!" Paddering slowly up to Tiis, she grinned wickedly, "I c'n see you covered in blood too...all big and growed up, but you are still shrimpy, yes yes yes~!" Another shrill laugh came from the petite lioness' frame, and she flopped on her back, waggling paws in the air in evil delight. Death was so pretty...it was a shame everyone couldn't see it as she did.
"'Course..." She seemed utterly unflappable, the peculiar behavior of the other youngster didn't really surprise her at all. Not with how off-kilter her own best buddy in the world was. Not that he would have taken well to her calling him that, but then, he wasn't inside her mind to complain now was he? "And if you'dda let me catch the mouse, I'd have blood on me now..." She pointed out, complaining yet again about the other's interference. Nah. She didn't much like this one with the creepy eyes.
"Don't you wanna know how you're going to die-die-die?" She purred, trilling the last three words several times, eyes wide and seemingly innocent. As though she couldn't comprehend why anyone wouldn't want to know the manner of their demise, even if she didn't know when, and to her that was completely unimportant. She'd already discovered that often...the readings of the gods were confusing...and gave her headaches...sooo she'd stopped trying.
"Not particularly." Tiis responded honestly, bringing a paw up to lick at it delicately. "Why don't..." Her eyes lit as she seized upon an idea, one that was grand and would redeem the spooky little female in her eyes. "...we go find other things, and discover how THEY are going to die?" That sounded like a fun game, one to at least entertain her for an afternoon. She could rather hope that this new friend of hers knew how to go into detail.
Kifatamu slooowly cocked her head to the side, and whuffled softly, seeming enamored of this new suggestion. "I...think that we should be doing this, yes yes~" She purred, closing her eyes, whuffling softly, kneading the dust with her claws. Oh that did sound like a pleasant idea, and with a friend that appreciated her...'talents'... That had never happened before, and it was a change from the relish she usually received from frightening adults, especially those swiftly nearing their terrible end. Mmmm.
Tiis wiggled at the prospect of such mental torture, however, and gestured with a paw. "This way! This way!" She purred, "I know where some rabbits are, can we start with them? They are not only squealing and cowering, but taste good when you are done playing." Just like the one 'Shen had caught for her yesterday.
Now, Kifa rather wondered if they had the ability to catch one of the fast-hoppers, but if Tiis said so, perhaps SHE knew how to catch one. And they were tasty... She hadn't had one since one of the big lions had left a half of one in the dirt. A little crusty, but delicious nonetheless. So she padded, smiling widely, as the smaller lion cub led the way.
Tiis barreled happily onward, already mentally planning just how delicious the torture would be. The last time she'd seen 'Shen carve up a rabbit, it had taken the little bugger hours to die, and there had been LOTS of squealing involved. Hmmm...she wondered if Kifa could see what she planned for the first rabbit that fell under her claws...it would be...destined for her prey to die that way. It was somehow very satisfying to know that she wasn't the only one enjoying her premeditation.
Kifa, for her own part, could already sense the rabbits ahead...smell them and their quivering noses...imagine their trembly ears and shaking hindquarters. Licking her lips, her dark eyes gleamed with dire intent. Ah the gods did smile upon her today...to have bestowed her with such a wicked-minded little friend.
