It was impossible not to spot the massive, white and salmon colored lion the second you got in the general area of him. Despite the fact he was sitting perfectly still and silent for a change, sprawled out across a flat stone, legs dangling over the edges. You would think he was asleep... But, no, he was awake, and locked in an epic battle of stares with a small Savannah rat that sat on his nose, causing him to go practically cross-eyed just to focus on it.
The little creature was obviously not worried about being eaten by the kind-hearted lion, who didn't even bother to make a move to nudge the rodent off of himself as he waited around for his new friend to show up from her pride.
Once she had checked that she did not have to hunt this day, Mutia made her way to the outskirts of the pride once again. She was very excited to see her white and pink friend once again. She was very, very excited in fact, she had been thinking about him all night and all morning and she had decided, he was very handsome. She had been fairly set on hunting the day before but on thinking about him for a long period of time, he was very handsome indeed.
Padding through the long grasses he paused for a moment to look upon the huge pale form, she couldn't help but gawp at him, he was so handsome! How had she not seen that the day before? What we she doing though? There was something on the end of his nose. Realising she was in fact, staring, she picked up her paws and walks towards her pale friend. "Yu ahem a rat on your nose." She states, as if that was an every day thing to see happen.

Said rat did not seem nearly as confident with the appearance of the huntress, squeaking out and taking off into the grasses in a hurry. Raha blinking after it, before a grin stretched over his maw, lifting his head up. " Why yes, I did. Maybe he was lonely? " He offered unhelpfully, before moving to get himself up off the stone he'd been resting on, dropping into the grass heavily onto his paws to stretch. " I'm happy to see you again, Tia, you look well! "
And he was indeed happy. He hadn't had a new friend in his travels in quite a while, and a lion one at that. The last few had just been a few birds, hares, and a stray leopard.
Mutia smiles, tipping her skull helm so that it dangled around her throat she flashes a very toothy, friendly grin at the big male. "I'm glad you're still here, I thought maybe you would have left." She didn't want to admit how sad it would have made her if he had simply up and gone in the night, but here he was, playing with a rat. It was so cute and funny and he looked ever so handsome in this light.
"I was wondering, would you like to come back to the pride with me? For a few days? You said you were searching for a home, you could try my one out." She giggles and shakes her head. "That soun

His ears perked up in surprise at the offer, a smile coming to his lips as he straightened up, stepping forward to show his appreciation by butting his head up against hers gently. " I'd like that a lot! The rest of your pride wont mind a guest? I heard some prides are picky about that kind of thing? " He hummed out.
He'd been chased out of his share of territories before. But he'd trust her if she said it was okay, and believe her not to be leading him in like one of those sacrificial offerings. He's seen one of those before too. Not too pleasant!
The lioness smiles and nods "We welcome rogues and if you choose to stay you'll be most welcome." She smiles, she never really thought about her pride as anything but a friendly one,s he herself had been a rogue after all and she'd come in to the pride without any bother.
"And if you decide not to stay, at least you've had a few good days of rest right?" She grins and nudges him back, pleased she had made the big lion happy, if he didn't choose to stay, she really didn't mind, it was just nice to have a new friend.

" Alright. I'll give it a try to see if this is the place I can call home then. " He grinned, giving a lick to her maw before trotting off a few steps ahead of her moving the direction she'd come to him from. Once he was a few paces away, he turned around, peering back to her with a teasing grin on his lips. " Well? It's this way isn't it? Are we going? "
Mutia chuckles quietly at the keen look in his eye. "Yes, it's this way." She chuckles and catches up to him nudging his shoulder with her nose. "you're slightly the wrong way though." She grins playfully and trots off in front of him with her tail held high in the air. It would e nice to ha a friend with her for a couple of days. She wondered if he would hear the voices? If he would find a muse and he would stay? Well those questions could wait, for now he was just visiting.
"Come on slow poke, keep up." She grins darting off with her tail flinging around like a crazy wind blown flag.

Laughing out, he chased after the playful female quickly, his own tail lashing out happily behind him as he ran, his heavy body slightly slower than her own but he kept pace with her quite well, enjoying the run. He could like it here, for however long he stayed. Weather it was home or not, still, he knew he would enjoy this time for all it was worth.
The young lioness slows down a little letting him catch up, waiting to put her shoulder against his to lead him towards the dens. "I'll show you where I live, you can stay with me for a few days, and if you decide to stay we can find you a place to live okay?" She smiles making a beeline for the dens. I'm sure you'll like it here." She purrs her tail flickering happily, it was nice to have this new friend.

He let his head give a lazy nod as his eyes roamed over this new area taking in her pride land curiously. It was.. A nice area. He had to admit, it did have good potential for a new home, but, he wasn't able to tell, not yet. There wasn't an immediate spark from it. Normally, without that spark, he would just move on. But he did like Tia, and he want to get to know her a bit better. He would give this pride at least a few days to see if it grew on him. If not, then, as she said, it was a nice little rest with a new friend. " Sounds good to me. You've got a great home here! "
The lioness nods a very affirmative nod. "Yes, I know, it's a wonderful place, though not for everyone. I came here nt. long back myself, I was a rogue for a long time." She smiles faintly remembering those days as a wanderer but casting them aside as quickly as she thought about them. "it's this way to my den." She smiles leading him past a few lions whom she nodded at and greeted. "Everyone is friendly here, we all look after each other."

He gave out a few smiles to the lions they passed by on the way to Tia's den until they finally reached it, happy to step inside and begin snooping when they were obviously in front of the correct one. " I'm honored to stick around a bit with you and see if it's for me. If nothing else, you and I should at least have some fun. " He chuckled, lifting his head to look up to her as he dropped himself onto his stomach, stretchering out. " Right? "
The lioness smiles and nods happily flopping down next to him her tail flickering happily "Yes, we can have lots of fun." She beams settling her chin on his back. "Right after a nap." She giggles closing her eyes, as she thought about ho comfortable he was, how nice he smelled and more importantly how handsome he was. "Stick with me Raha, I'll show you a very good time!" she giggles, yawning a bit and settling happily curled up next to him.
