Lolz, learn from parrents? Well I know ur parrents find it hard too, cuz I think u told me once.
I also haven't memorized the meanings of all of the duahs sad
Of course I know Al-Fatiha meaning smile
But u know. Rakaats is how many times you do it.
It's:
Fajr(morning): 2 rakaats Zuhr(midday, the sun is in middle.): 4 rakaats Asr(sun is between Zuhr and Maghrib): 4 rakaats Maghrib(sun does down): 3 rakaats Isha(night): 4 rakaats
There are specific duahs in the diffrent rakaats, and yes they may be complicated, but I'm sure ur parents know about this =)

Ur mom surely knows 3nodding It's her farz to know it, if her son comes to ask how to pray (means her son is religious). Then I'm sure his mom knows.
Try asking her, if she dosn't know I think she will figure it out smile

I had to learn myself, alhamdullilah that I was able to learn (& will continue to work at it).
