For those of you who haven't watched anime before, it's time to start.
This is a Japanese children's anime. It's good for beginners because the characters speak slowly, use basic vocabulary and all of the writing in the show appears in hiragana. My high school Japanese teacher made us watch this so we could hear the proper pronunciation and intonation of Japanese.
The show is about a burnt piece of bread living in a bakery - "koge" means burnt and "pan" means bread, so the title literally means "burnt bread".
