Balia = Goldenrod
Angra = Dark Red

With her conversation with her sister being less than a satisfying one, Balia'azima had decided to wander off from the rest of the cubs and juveniles in her age category in search of older minds to prod. Most of the adults were out and about either hunting, or sparring, and since Balia could do neither of those without losing her own life, she had decided to bother those who defended the borders of their pride. Unfortunantely, when she had arrived at those borders, she found no one, and was sufficiently tuckered out from her little adventure.

"Why is no one here!?" She growled, "Ugly faced rhino hides."

"You my dear are not quite much to look at yourself." Angra growled in a sturdy tone. He eye'd the young female up and down, smiling devilishly all the while. He had found the prides borders about a half hour ago and was curiously treading in poorly chose territory. He didn't seek anything, and was slightly dissappointed to simply find this little girl.

"What on this earth are you doing here?" He asked her, pasuing before her, a pace about to take place, but had a second thought moment. He flopped his bottom to teh ground and let out a sigh. He'd been venturing a while, and seemed more relaxed nowadays. He was tired, but excited he had his own little spawn coming.

Balia jumped at the sound of someone else's voice, and the hairs on her back stood on end as she whipped around and gave a rather powerful hiss in Angra's direction, especially coming from something so obviously small. Her nostrils flared momentarily at the insult and a pout came over the little lioness's face, "I am gorgeous. I have the markings and colors of the best lioness of this pride, and she is proud to have me as her grand-daughter."

Balia's pride and vain was obvious, she held her head up high as she had said this to Angra, and lowered it, along with her bottom, when she was finished. She wiggled her butt into the grass for a moment to flatten it out beneath her, having grass poke at your bottom was uncomfortable, "Who are you, Elder Lion? I don't think I ever saw you before...Are you a Neumar? Daddy says Neumar have easy jobs, bringing back demons to make our numbers grow,"

Angra stared at eth proud little thing, she spoke without a care that she was in teh rpesence of a stranger. "Well, little proud she-child, you don't think before youa ct.." He was paused by her continuing and was about to ask what a Neumar was before she explained it briefly. "Demons eh?" He asked curiously, what did she mean by demons, demons don't exist as far as Angra was concerned. He grumble dlightly, frustrated slightly. "What are you going on about pesky creature?" He sighed softly.

His tail flicked about now, his patience easily tried, he wasn't excietd to be having idle chat. In fact it was the most annoyingly thing for him, he wans't a sit around the campfire kinda guy.

Balia looked at him, eyebrow raised. He knew not of what Demons were, meaning he was not one, meaning she was in great danger. Her sister would laugh at her for this, she knew, but for now the objective was to stay alive and leave, though she could not help but explain to the blood red lion before her the inhabitants of the land on which he sat.

Her voice changed, she spoke sweet as honey, in a story-teller's tone as she recited what she had learned from her lessons about her pride, "The Aikanaro'hini is a pride of demons. A pride of lions who share commanalities looked down upon by the outsider world; the thirst for battle, blood-shed, havoc and the joy of inflicting pain."

Balia went silent for a moment after she had completed what she thought was the most comprehensive introduction to her pride she could possibly give without boring someone out of their mind with the rituals and rites each demon had to endure. Her tailed flicked for a moment as she looked on the red male, "Our pride values those things, as well as the darkness in ones pelt. Father said that there are light colored demons out there,but very few. Everything else is disgusting in its purity and is useful for nothing more than slaves."

Angra listened about as patinetly as a cougar hunting his/her prey. He watched her jaws move,d heard teh change of her voice and the movement of her chest pulsing as she breathed in and out. He stared to eth point of voidimng her words. "Mhm, that's nice." He said slowly, his ears flattening against his head then raising again quickly. He sighed softly, his chest pulsing itself and then relaxing intoa steady rhythem.

"You have a mind." he said daftly, pbvisouly not interested in hwat she had to say, no matter if they pertained to him ornot. He fit the definition of a 'demon' perfectly, he laughed thinking of what Oki would do if she heard teh small cub defining him. He smirk slightly and looked away tehn back at teh cub., "Don't you have a family?" He asked slowly.

"A large one," Balia said, "I am only one of the King, Verge'lian's, many grandchildren."

Many was the understatement in that sentence. Balia wasn't exactly sure how many half-siblings, cousins and half cousins, aunts and half-aunts, uncles and half-uncles she had. All she knew is she had two other litter mates, her sister Shababa, who she liked to torment reltentlessly by calling her everything but, and her brother, who she did not really bother herself with much.

"Do YOU have a family?"

He vaguely heard what she said, he hated ramblers, this cub was better than most, but still irked him. "I have minimal family. My brother and cubs on teh way." He said with little to no enthusiasm, he purposely left out his traveling sister and Father who were abroad to teh point of falling off teh earth? Even Angra coudln't track them.

He snuffled a bit, nose twitching and eye's dulling as he lost interest. This female was losing her reason to be alive much longer,. not that he searched for a reason to keep others alive.

Balia frowned at him and spoke bluntly, "You bore me. And If I wanted boring I'd sit there and listen to Shababa speak, or watch my aunts fight like vultures for Grandma's attention. For someone who reeks of blood and death, you're like sand, not able to hold onto anything that touches it."

With Angra unresponsive to her comments, and him not even remotely interested in boasting about his own prowess as the other lion males did, she was growing weary of him. This male had no ego, no bite to him aside from the reek of death that cascaded over him. Than again, there were many who reeked of death by nature, and not by action.

Angra flared at this, he was a bore when his company was a bore. "A bore makes a bore little one." He growled raising from hsi relaxed position, a dangerous grin touching his lips that parted to permit a glistening set of sharpened fangs/teeth show. "You shouldn't be so quick to talk down about your elders." He said aggressively and took his first step to eth female.

He smelled the air, his own scent hit him and he neearly drooled, he alone could smell the scent of sex in his fur, the smell of a cub he'd already tore to shreds, and cannibalized. He let hsi eye's narrow and tongue slip out to lick his lips.

"Do you wish to take anything back, my sweetly seasoned cubbin?" He asked, tail raising and ears flicked forward, listening for a reply.

"Sure. This," Balia said lunging up at Angra's face, small, sharp claws outstretched, quickly grabbing hold of the sides of his face as a pair of sizable fangs for a cub sunk into the top of his nose.

She wasn't allowing him to even remotely touch her without a fight on her part, and though she had foolishly decided to engage him, she had enough knowledge on how to defend herself from a much larger lion on the part of her larger cousins and siblings.

He yelped unwillingly and gave his head a strong shake, his nose ached severely as he half shooka nd half yanked teh youngster free of himself. "Well well, someones been taught some defense." He smirked, holding the cub by the back of her neck, she was cute liek this. He admired her a moment then tossed her away, vaguely aiming for a tree trunk, but not looking for a precise hit.

"Go fight someone your own size." He growled, huffed and turned tail, not expecting a cub to be so stupid as to follow him.

Balia struggled as he had her by her scruff, it did not hurt her, but she was in a position that left her with very few offensive strategies aside from flailing like novice, attempting to scratch his face up with her feet.

"Your blood, your strength, is mine," Balia smirked, licking it from her lips before she was tossed to the side, letting out a small squeak as she missed the trunk but still fell hard onto the dirt. she sat up, wobbling, dizied by the toss.

It took her a moment to regain herself as Angra began to walk off from her, "I'll find you one day! And everything you are will be mine!

He smirked, amused by the threat from the cub. She proclaimed his death, talked of his blood, no one woudl have his blood, no one but his brother. He began laughing and looked back at her her, a twist in his eye, a strut in his step. No fear showed form this lion, a demon or not he was free to roam as he wanted now and now is what mattered.

"Threaten all you liek littel lady, i have a brotehr for that deed." He flicked his tail and laughed once more before disappearing.
