New Katakana & Hiragana forum.

[They Call Me Homewrecker]

There's going to be a new forum for learning Katakana.
Kanji is symbols for each word, while Katakana is a different symbol for each pronounceable syllable. Such as, ki, ke, ki, ko. They each have their own symbol. I don't think we'll be needing a romaji forum. I mean, it's easy. sweatdrop

There WILL is be a Hiragana forum, but not until I'm finished creating Katakana. And Kanji will be last soon.

But please try to visit soon. Also, this guild has 19 members, including myself. I'm trying to find more members to join. ^_^

Currently, this guild is a little on the limpy side, if you get what I mean. I'll be changing it. Screw that, improving it. I promise to all of you, this guilds gonna be so much better when I'm done improving it. I won't fail, like they failed when they reconstructed our My Gaia page!

There's no real tips to this. ): You just need to learn it. Try writing them by hand. This way you might memorize them quicker.

Learn them in syllable sets. Write each set 10x a day for a week.
When you add a new set, write the ones you learned in previous weeks too.

ex. of syllable sets : [ あいうえお ] vowels, [　たちつてと ] t

If you know a word that uses the syllables you know. You should try writing it.

There are some syllables that are just slight alterations of how you say another one, which makes the dotted ones easy to remember. ta(た) and da(だ) are physically said very similarly. Learn these last because if you learned all the other ones, you basically know these.
