A soft wind gently fluttering by, Roh found himself, once again, found himself lazing on the edge of a small pond. He wasn't overly fond of water, but he let his paw sway gently in the cool water. He had found himself drawn here, gazing at the water's surface that was covered in lilies and red lotuses, more and more. He hadn't the slightest idea why, but he guessed that there was something important here, something his soul wished for him to find.
But he just assumed it was something that would take time, age, and maturing to find. Right now, it was just relax time. Be a lazy cub time.
His small mane slided delicately over his eyes, almost to the point of tickling his nose. His golden eyes barely peeked through, seeing just slivers of the scene before him. His tail flicked up at random intervals, at a slow and calm pace. For a cub, Roh was fairly easy going and in no rush to do anything. He found himself lacking the energy that the rest of his siblings had, but he didn't envy them at all; in his opinion, life was to be taken in slowly, or else someone might miss out on it.

The cub wasn't close to the water. Not yet anyway. He had to make sure that 'Jabali' his rock was safe. He scooped down and picked it up in his mouth as carefully as he could. Jabali would be mad if he dropped him; he didn't like to be with the other rocks on the ground. He liked the sky and the sensation of flying. He told this to his cub friend; he mentioned it often. Jabali the cub nodded at the rocks wisdom.
So the cub picked up pace towards the water with a WHOOSHING sound. Jabali was happy both Jabali the cub and Jabali the rock (though the were the same person on the inside). He was going fast now. He liked going fast. But something made the cub stop, it was another cub by the water. Jabali would make friends with it. Yes thats what the rock told him too do. Go make friends with the other cub. Jabali needed friends. He settled the rock nicely on the ground and sat a few feet from him.
"Jabali says I need friends."

Eyes staring out at the glistning water, Roh's mind was far away. He wasn't really thinking about anything at all, just the calm image of the sky seemed to roll through his mind. Slowly, the fluffy white clouds started to morph into something - it was pinkish red, and beautiful, but Roh couldn't figure out what it was. He'd had this daydream a few times, with things morphing into this reddish blob, but as soon as it started to take shape, it would all flash away.
He instinctively rolled his head around after hearing some other sounds. It took a few moments for his mind to come back to the real world, and his golden eyes opened a little wider once they focused on the cream cub just a few paces away. Roh still felt a bit groggy, a sleepy taste still in his mouth. Drawing his paw from the water, his tail started to flick a little faster. "Who's that?" He asked it more to himself, but said it at a loud enough level to where the other cub could hear.

"I am...uh...uh..." The cub stammered feeling confused being apart from the rock he had been carrying around. He began to speak in the third person again talking for the inatimate rock that he place beside him.
"Jabali. I am Jabali." The cub rested a paw on the rock as if trying to communicate with it threw esp. He was clearly off his rocker. The madness of the pride had effected him more then his siblings.
"I like to fly. I can do it often." He gritted his teeth in a smile thinking back to only a few seconds ago where the rock had been resting in his teeth.
"Do you fly?"

"Jabali." Roh's face seemed expressionless; he wasn't feeling overly passionate today, and this cub had distracted him from his water-lounging.
"Can't say that I do." Flopping his head back on the ground, he stared at the sky. The pure craziness of the question didn't phase him as much as they probably should have. He just took it all in stride, thinking that if that's really how this other cub was, there was no point in being wierded out by him. Especially not in this pride.
Thinking about it, Roh knew that he'd probably be just like Jabali some day. He thought it might be fun, after he had everything figured out. Right now, he really needed the sanity he was born with to figure out these strange red images that kep appearing.
"If you fly so much, then why are you here on the ground? It seems like a waste of travel time." He rolled his head back to face the other cub, his question actually rather serious.
