Moving objects/ building things... is really slow!! (TS3)

Every time I go to buy/build its really slow. When I move objects it takes forever. Any ideas what it could be? I disabled CC and it still does it... I really wanna remodel houses too! lol

I totally forgot to mention... this is for TS3 this started after a few plays with the Ambitions EP... sweatdrop

do you have enough space on your computer? If the game is taking too much space it will run slowly. You can try deleting things you don't need off your PC in order to make more space.

The only lag I seem to get in build/buy modes is if I try rotating the lot while I have the CAST tool selected. Switching to the hand tool speeds things up although it does seem worse since Ambitions.

Have you tried lowering the graphics settings? They might have reset when you installed ambitions.
I'd love to find out if theres a cause for the slow down in build mode, I always just assumed it was caused by my overheating laptop.
