Hello and welcome to this mini-plot brought to you by Kimaria. It’s called a ‘mini-plot’ because it will hopefully be a short in-pride plot that can be brought to a conclusion relatively quickly. The following are some things to note about this plot:
- This time, it will be available to Firekin owners only.
- The plot is also looking to start the moment all vacant places are filled, so hopefully it won’t take too long to get things underway.
- Those involved will most likely not have to do more than 1 rp, so it won’t take up a lot of your time.
- Any questions must be sent to the pride mule which I will aim to check on a daily basis. Or, alternatively, you may contact me on AIM. My addy is: Kimaria33. (Please note that I am in the GMT time zone).
So, if you own a Firekin, feel free to read on and offer a character if possible!
Rules
- No whining/complaining if your character doesn’t get chosen. People who do this will never get a chance to play in other Firekin plots.
- You may submit more than one character.
- Firekin owners only.
- If you apply and then realise you cannot do/complete your one RP, please let me know and the RP will be marked invalid and the ‘runner-up’ will be invited to do the RP in your stead.
- May add more later if need be...

Our story starts in the time where the traditionalists were forced from their homelands, crossing the desert to settle in a new place, away from the treacherous Simo Firekin who had seen it right to disown themselves from the Goddess Finar-Si.
Among the traditionalists was an old female by the name of Ripuka, who was deeply troubled by the events of the civil war and her own conflicting beliefs. She attempted to distract herself by raising another litter, getting pregnant by her mate, shortly after the move. She had a large litter which included the orange male named Rap. However, to her dismay, she also birthed a cub that was not red, black or white. His pelt was as golden as the sun, a throwback on his father’s side (whose ancestry was not known to any but himself). Unable to even consider the option of killing him, she raised him in secret and, when he was weaned, made the risky journey out across the sands, determined to deliver him to those who would protect him: The Motoujamii Simo.
Unfortunately, the journey did not go to plan. Ripuka was confronted by two rogue lions and was mortally wounded. It was all she could do to drag her injured body and carry her son to the borders of the pride where she called for aid. There, on the borders, Ripuka died, leaving her golden son in their care.
When word of her death reached Ripuka’s family back in the Safi lands, there was turmoil amongst them. Rap, especially, grew hateful and angry, jumping to conclusions. He blamed the Motoujamii Simo for his mother’s death and formed a plan with a fiery Rowtag who agreed to help get his revenge. However, knowing that they were both too young to do anything, they agreed to go their separate ways and reunite later in order to deal a fatal blow to the pride. Rowtag went with his family to work undercover in the pride whilst Rap went out into rogue lands. There, Rap trained under a battle-master by the name of Hakan’mawasii, awaiting the day that he would return and take his revenge.
On the other side, Rowtag was apprenticed under the General and worked hard to increase his strength. But, more recently, he has started getting twitchy and nervous, knowing that soon the time will come when Rap will return.
However, something happened that neither male could have predicted.
Rowtag fell in love with a beautiful female, Zii’moto, the pale daughter of the Regents, and now he is trying to seek a way to get himself out of the predicament he agreed to as a cub.
Now, fully-trained and fully-grown, Rap is making his way back to the place of his Mother’s death to seek his revenge, intending to strike a horrible blow to the pride no matter the cost.

Main Characters
Rap
Son of Ripuka and Makaa’kali, Rap left his family and went out into rogue lands alone to seek knowledge in the ways of becoming a warrior. Luckily, fortune was smiling upon him and, shortly after he ran into a large, dark-pelted male by the name of Hakan’mawasii. The dark lion begrudgingly agreed to train the youngster and so Rap’s training begun and with promising results.
Rap is both a typical and unusual Firekin. He possesses a large frame, has incredible strength and certainly has a talent for the fight. However, he is also an emotional character, easily brought to tears or anger. He is a passionate individual who thinks with his heart rather than his head – both a weakness and a strength. Rap is actually extremely kind-hearted, determined and loyal, but his main focus – since childhood – has been to avenge his mother. It is clear he will stop at nothing to get what he desires.
Hakan’Mawasii
The son of the ex-Firekin Queen, Kinja (though unaware of her past title), Hakan’mawasii has been raised with strong ideals around family. As a youth he was determined to protect his siblings and his elderly mother by becoming strong enough to take on any challenge. This path of strength led him down a somewhat darker road and saw him rise to become the High Priest of Mrost the God of War. His skills in battle, enhanced by Mrost’s teaching and blessing, has Hakan far exceeding others his age and he grew up to be a strong and worthy warrior.
However, as time passed, Mrost’s presence in his life faded and Hakan became a wanderer, having lost sight of his family and thus losing his purpose. He slipped in and out of failed romances and entered a phase of helplessness. This, however, was changed by the appearance of the youngster, Rap. And, though he seemed unwilling, Hakan agreed to take on the role of teacher and set out teaching Rap everything he knew.
Having learned, also, of Rap’s mother, Hakan has set himself the task of aiding the youth as much as possible. For he understand more than any, the pain of living with regret; unable to help family. He does not want Rap to suffer the same pains as he.
Rowtag
Rowtag is one of the many children of Kenna, ex-queen of the Safi. He is different in that he maintains beliefs of the Safi and the Simo. He does not worship Finar-Si and nor does he have anything against new blood. However, he has major issues with the Safi being forced to return to join with those that first cast them out. He initially agreed to go along with Rap’s plan for vengeance to aid with his own needs.
He didn’t want revenge. He just wanted to take back the pride that was stolen from his family. His family and the others who hung their heads in defeat and went to beg for forgiveness. For Rowtag it has always been about pride.
Rowtag is the least likeable of the three. He goes very much on first impressions and if he decides he doesn’t like you – which is often – he’ll be very condescending and even violent. If he does like you, however, he will be more decent, but not exactly friendly.
Additional Characters
Zii’moto
Rowtag’s sweetheart and daughter of Regent No and Kidondo.
Zii is a very kind and sweet Firekin who's temper only flares on rare occasion. She tries to be friendly and welcome to all sorts but sometimes is judgmental. She is self conscious of her pelt and will get severely short with anyone who has something bad to say about it. She is deeply in love with Rowtag.
Azar
Azar was born to Kidondo and No. Even as a little cub she has always been wanting to prove herself - mostly to her father. She was always a daddy's girl growing up. She spent a lot of her time training and preparing to be a good fighter. As she was growing up she had a best friend. This best friend happened to be her sister Zii, her and Zii were both really close she always loved her sister and spent a lot of time with her when she wasn't training.
When Rowtag appeared in the picture Azar never really liked him, she always rose a brow at him she never liked him and always had a bad feeling about him. She didn't like him one bit. Seeing as her sister really liked him she shrugged it off and supported her. But she saw less and less of her sister.
Recently she found herself a mate and she just had a litter of cubs but she is at the point where she can fight once again and she is getting into sparring and getting her strength back and of course reconecting with her sister from her lost time having cubs

Okay, so how do you sign your Firekin up and what exactly are you signing up for? The answers to these questions and more are below:
As stated before, you are signing up for 1 rp, all of which will involve the three main characters which are all RPed by me (Kimaria). Your Firekin will not be killed or severely wounded without your permission. And neither will you be penalised for being unable to RP, due to RL or whatever. If this situation does arise, the ‘runner-up’ will be given an opportunity to RP in your place.
If you are chosen to take part in this plot, I will send you some information via PM, which will consist of a link to the RP and some information about what will happen during the rp as a guideline to work from.
This plot has a number of vacant places that need to be filled by current Firekin members. Next to each role that needs to be filled I will place a preference for each – if necessary. However, if a preferred character doesn’t get entered, this will be opened out to others, so feel free to try even if your character doesn’t fit exactly what the preferences are asking for. These can be filled by both original members and newly joined members, of course. Adults will take preference over adolescents in all available slots.

@3: Although hardly "forgiving", Ea is unlikely to fight and will attempt to break up conflicts before they happen. [Although, not without some screaming and arm flailing.] Despite her agitated nature and bitching, she occasionally does offer words of advice through gritted teeth. She'd like to avoid anyone getting hurt, seeing as she's probably going to have to fix them. Has seer powers if needed.
@4: Vlam couldn't act alone, as he's still recovering from crippling injuries. He's feeling a bit worthless and out of place, and coupled with his lack of voice, he's pretty much a hair trigger to strike out at anyone who even looks like they might be up to something. He's learned the hard way that no one can be trusted.

Please give reason(s) for why this character is suitable for the role you have chosen: Chaka and Shisa are Rap's nephew and niece, through Wakia, from Ripuka's first litter. They were competitive when they were small but now they work as a team and you're looking for two lions so I thought I'd offer them together. Both share a strong sense of honor, and while not always forgiving, they are more apt to try to be understanding because of it. Chaka is the more serious of the pair, and his temper is much shorter than Shisa's. He's stronger but she's smarter. If considered separately, Shisa is probably the one to go with.

Please give reason(s) for why this character is suitable for the role you have chosen: Well, Azzie is a good fighter and of high rank, so he fits the criteria. Also because this whole thing with Rap coming back for crazy!revenge is going to both unsettle him and make him ohsosad, and while his connection to Rap and Ripuka and his loyalty to the Simo will be rather conflicting internally (so he can't really be either merciful or merciless xD), getting involved one way or another would be very much like something Azzie would do.Count me in!!

This whole thing with his uncle coming back will probably confuse him to no end, and at some point, somebody could easily talk him into one mindset or another. Because he's related to Rap, he could sympathize, but at the same time, Atesh reveres his pride and his elders like nothing else, so the fact that Rap could think otherwise could make him go "... wtfman D8<"

Please give reason(s) for why this character is suitable for the role you have chosen: Firstly, because Kich is intensely loyal to the pride, and to have someone try and tear it apart for the sake of misguided revenge is something he won't tolerate. And secondly...he's VERY fond of Zii, and Rowtag's 'betrayal' won't sit well AT ALL with him. If he has to watch her heart break, he'll be intent on breaking the one who caused it or those helping the one who caused it.

Azula is not afraid to get blood on her paws, so if the penalty for an offense is death there's very little reason that she'd hesitate to dole out the punishment. She used to be the captain of offense, so since being "demoted"/stepping down back to soldier she's got a bit of pent up energy that she's more than willing to take out on blatant trespassers, rule breakers, or apprentices (The prior two are preferred since she won't get in trouble for beating them bloody.).Count me in!!

Please give reason(s) for why this character is suitable for the role you have chosen: Mwako'Damu's emotions are a bit unstable in certain situations. He loves his family and his pride, but he is still hurt by the leaving of his older brother and youngest sister. Regardless of the rules (though he still wishes his sister might someday be allowed to return) he would protect his pride no matter what, and he has no compassion for those that would disrupt his homeland. He would fight until unable to show his love for his pride, and to uphold his family's namesake.
Also, his mother being one of the Historian's of the pride, Mwako'damu has seen the depiction of Ripuka, as well as Ripuka's son who's image is near his sister's (for her pelt was pale and golden as well). Mwako'damu hopes that not only with the strength of his family's heritage in his blood, but the firey mark in orange on his fur may he give strength and protect those in honor of those no longer with the pride.
