I'm not a Muslim, but I'll put in my two cents anyway.
Your characters are not you. Your characters are not real. Lots of writers have main characters that are different from them. I mean, just look at Lolita and books like it. Are the authors condoning ******? No, because writing is writing, not real life.

I don't understand it 100%, so I'm afraid I can't be sure. But if it's buisness(as in school/work) then u can talk. If not, then don't.
And also, if ur alone in a room with a boy, ur still not alone. Remmember, that the 3rd person will be Shaitan.

Definitly not, your characters don't have to be muslim. Just make sure that the message you're sending through your writing is good and educational, and don't include any inappropriate things (scenes, words....). Good luck

The_Pathan I don't understand it 100%, so I'm afraid I can't be sure. But if it's buisness(as in school/work) then u can talk. If not, then don't. And also, if ur alone in a room with a boy, ur still not alone. Remmember, that the 3rd person will be Shaitan. That has nothing to do with her question to begin with! And no it is most definitely not haraam. I have no clue who gave you the idea but it isn't.
