How would everyone fell about listening to alternative music? Alternative combines music genres, most of it is just up-beat music that a lot of teenagers like. So you could be listening to your favorite pop/Korean band(such as Demi Lavoto), light metal band(such as Three Days Grace), New Age(such as Lady Gaga), Electrica(such as Owl City), hip hop(such as Black Eyedpeas), soft religous rock(such as Creed), soft religous(such as Casting Crowns), and much more.
