Just run straight at the wall, between platforms 9 and 10 and there you are! ready hand off your trunk and hop aboard the Hogwarts Express! The journey to Hogwarts is long, but the reward is so sweet.

Allie pulled her trunk out of Mr. Williams' car and grabbed the cage of her newcat, Ebony. She had seen the young, black cat in the window of one of the stores as they were leaving Diagon Alley, and Mr. Williams agreed to let her get the cat. She dragged her trunk up to the entrance of the station and found a trolley, and started off down the platforms. Mr. Williams kept looking at his clock and finally he handed Allie her ticket and said, "I'm sorry, I'm running late, I really must go. Here is your ticket. The platform is in that direction. Good Luck at Hogwarts."
Allie looked a little startled at the suddeness of his departure and then looked at her ticket. Platform 9 3/4. Allie fipped the ticket over and looked back at it again, that is what it said plain as day. That can't be right, there's no such thing.
Still puzzled Allie pulled her trolley to platforms nine and ten and stood between them, cluelessly. She looked around for someone else who looked like they were going to Hogwarts.

Alexis pushed her trolley containing her trunk and her gray owl Hermes towards the platform. She had already said goodbye to her mom back home so it was just her dad who was with her. She spotted Allie as she got to the barrier. Her escort must have forgotten to tell her how to get there, she thought. "Hey Allie," she said.

Kai walked into the station alone. "Stupid guy...dogs not allowed!" She muttered to herself. Her guide told her that all animals had to be caged up, and of coarse Kai threw a fit about it. But he won and said she wouldn't get to take Tonks if he wasn't caged until she was on the train, so she shut up and put Tonks in a cage on her trolley. She was pushing her trolley at a very fast pace because she was angry. She almost missed seeing Alexis and Allie. When she spotted them she stopped and said, "Hey guys! I can't wait to get to school I have heard tons about it!"

"Hello Alexis, Kai...Do you know what platform we're supposed to be on? There is a mistake on my ticket." She held it out for them to see. Ebony purred softly in her cage.

"Actually that's the correct platform," Alexis said.
"All you have to do is walk through the barrier and you'll be at platform 9 and 3/4," her dad explained.

"Walk through?" Allie said bewildered she looked at the brick wall in front of her. "Are you serious?"

Jack Hancock and his friend, Matthew, stepped ono the platform laughing about something. "That's a laugh, his left blinker!" He stopped his trolley in front of the barrier when he took notice of the three younger girls. "Hello, you guys must be first years, nice to meet you I'm Jack, Gryffindor, hey maybe some of you guys will be in our house." He smiled widely and turned toward the barrier, his snowy owl hooting and ran straight at it. Allie winced thinking he was going to crash but she looked up and he was gone. His friend Matthew snickered at the look on her face and waved, "See you on the train, firsties!" He then copied Jack and ran through the wall.

"Well I guess we'd better follow them," Alexis said. She backed up. She took a deep breath and ran towards the barrier. Before she knew it she was in a different platform. There was a sign that said "Platform 9 3/4 Hogwarts Express" She couldn't help but smile as she looked at the large red and black train.

Allie gulped nervously and glanced back at Kai and Alexis' dad before closing her eyes tight and sprinting at the wall. She didn't stop until her trolley hit someting and she heard a loud, "Oi, watch it!" Her eyes fluttered open and she was startled to see a man in a tweed jacket standing infront of her. "Oh I'm so-" Allie began. The man was looking her up and down as he straightened his jacket. Her hair was in a tight ponytail and the jagged scar could be seen on her neck. The man's eyes widened, and he nodded politely, "Be Beggin' your pardon Miss Lightscar, I m-mean Lightstone." He than raced off to his family waving and beaming excitedly, as if he'd just won the lottery. How did he know my name? Allie thought. She then noticed the beautiful steam engine in front of her, and she looked up to see the Platform sign. "Ah! 9 and 3/4 just like on the ticket! Alexis so this is the train then?! The Hogwarts Express?" She asked excitedly.

Jack tucked into his cabin on the train with three of his friends from school, he smiled as Matthew began to tell another joke, he seemed to be full of them today. He was saying, "Alright, alright, so Sherlock Holmes and Dr Watson go on a camping trip. After a good dinner and a bottle of wine, they retire for the night, and go to sleep. Some hours later, Holmes wakes up and nudges his faithful friend. 'Watson, look up at the sky and tell me what you see.' 'I see millions and millions of stars, Holmes' replies Watson. 'And what do you deduce from that?'
Watson ponders for a minute. 'Well, Astronomically, it tells me that there are millions of galaxies and potentially billions of planets. Astrologically, I observe that Saturn is in Leo. Horologically, I deduce that the time is approximately a quarter past three. Meteorologically, I suspect that we will have a beautiful day tomorrow. Theologically, I can see that God is all powerful, and that we are a small and insignificant part of the universe. But what does it tell you, Holmes?' Holmes is silent for a moment. 'Watson, you idiot!' he says. 'Someone has stolen our tent!' "
Everyone got a good laugh, mostly at the fact that it was kind of a lame joke, but it was still a little funny. Jack smiled and glabced out the window. He noticed two of the girls from before, the one with the ponytail looked really excited. He chuckled before scanning the crowd for his parents and waving when he saw them.

((sorry I was bored))

"This is it," Alexis said with a smile. "This train will take us straight to Hogwarts." She spotted Allie's scar and realized where she had heard the name before. Everyone in the wizarding world had heard about the Lightstones. She had never fully believed that the young girl had actually survived but here she was. She decided not to tell Allie about who she was. She probably had no idea about the incident.

Lacey sat alone in a plush compartment, a stiff piece of stationary in her hands. Her blond hair shrouded her beautiful face, but every so often there was a pit pat sound as a tear dropped to the page, blurring the ink. They had promised they would come this year... they had promised! Suddenly, the compartment door slid open and in walked Marshall, who saw at once that Lacey was upset.

"Lace..." he said, and she thrust the letter at him. He couldn't read it, but it seemed Lacey had memorized it.

"Dearest Daughter," she began scathingly, her voice quickly loosing it's sadness and becoming quite malicious, "We sincerely hope you have an excellent term. We are sorry we could not attend your departure, but our duties come first to the Ministry as you know."

"Lacey..." Marshall said, a warning cast to his tone, but Lacey would not be cut off. She jumped to her feet, pacing the cabin. The letter in his hands began to smoke.

"... If plans fall accordingly, we look forward to seeing you during the Holidays. Fondly, Mother and Father," she hissed with relish, and the letter burst into flame. Marshall yelped, and dropped it, quickly stamping out the flame. "It wasn't even in their own writing, Marshall!" she raged.

"I know, Lace... I know," he muttered. She was about to continue when the compartment door slid open a second time, allowing in a stream of people. They were all in Lacey's little group, and relished in their status. Marhall was shocked to see that, when Lacey turned to face them, she looked like she hadn't even been crying. Her face was perfectly smooth and as beautiful as ever, and she had an angelic glow. "Greetings, friends," she said as they sat, "We've got a whole year ahead of us, and new firsties to... train. But we shall get to that later! How were your summers?" she asked with her classic smile.

Kai followed Allie and Alexis onto Platform 9 3/4. She wasn't talking much because she was too busy taking everything in. "We better get seats. It looks like there will be a full train today." Kai said before stepping onto the train. She had never been in a train before, but what she found shocked her. There were rows and rows of compartments, many of them already full. Kai found an empty one and ushered her friends in. She smiled and pulled her stuff in and sat down. "Would you mind if I took Tonks out?" Kai asked.

Marshall mirrored the grin, though his was more of a leer. He knew she wasn't asking because she was genuinely interested... she was only asking to make them feel special. To feel individual. Friendship, Lacey said, was all in the mind. This virtually proved it. Lacey seated herself next to Marshall like a Queen upon her throne. He supposed she was in her element... all the attention on her, surrounded by admirers, the people clamoring for her attention... Lace pretty much craved all the things her parents couldn't give her. Deep in his thought, he heard a yowling under his feet. Reaching under the seat, he pulled out a cat carrier.

"Oh darling!" Lacey cooed, taking the carrier from Marshall, "Come here, Bee!" She unlatched the grate and a beautiful black cat leaped onto her lap. Marshall and the others knew the cat as Beelzebub, Lacey's beloved companion. It was probably the only creature he'd ever seen her display a true compassion for, besides her barn owl Eglantine, who was sleeping overhead. As Beelzebub sat in his traditional place on her lap, he noticed a pin on her chest.

"... You made Prefect, then?" he asked, giving her a pat on the shoulder.

"Of course," she said, stroking Bee's head, "I am quite pleased!" A chuckle went around the compartment, and Beelzebub's head whipped around at the sound.

Allie smiled "I'm good with it as long as I get to let Ebony out." She said as her new black cat purred in her cage. Allie stood up and opened the cage, pulling the lazy feline out and into her lap. She let Ebony walk around the compartment, for a moment. Ebony soon found Tonk's cage. Allie held her breath for a moment as the cat sniffed the dog through the wires of the cag. Finally Ebony sneezed and walked away from the cage, as if it was just another piece of furniture. Soon she found her way back to Allie's lap and curled up there for a nap. "Good I think they'll get along," she chuckled.

Kai laughed at Ebony. "Yep I think they will." Kai said. She opened Tonk's cage and he burst out jumping onto Kai. Kai laughed as she fell back against the seat. "Hey there big boy!" She said to him, scrating his head. Tonks jumped down from Kai's lap and sniffed Allie's feet. He looked up at her and wagged his tail, hoping to be petted or given a treat. Kai shook her head and laughed at him.
