Syr
It wasn't that he was nervous, more that he had never asked anything of anyone in his life. Never really wanted anything enough to actually ask for it. He took, that was his right. This though was a very different kettle of fish. He was asking for a Banu from someone he respected and more than that he was asking to be trusted with a daughter of someone he respected.

He felt unnerved but stood tall as he made his way towards Achals den with words dancing around in his head, how exactly would he ask? he hoped that Thuraya had at least asked her father, or spoken to her father. What if she hadn't? Well he would just have to remember why he was going to see Achal. he had fallen for the young female, she was beautiful and well behaved, everything he wanted in a Banu.

Standing before Achals den he clears his throat, sits quietly and waits, a little nervously.

Kaori
Achal heard a sound just outside his den, so he untangled himself from his mates and made his way outward. He smiled outwardly when he saw that it was Kwea that stood before his den. He'd been meaning to speak with the male for some time but with his large family and his current tryings for another litter he had not found the time.

"Hello Kwea," he said giving a respectful nod to the male. "It has been a long time since we have last spoken. I have been meaning to come speak to you but I have not been able to find the time. I have so many cubs running about and just recently a new litter."

Achal sat before him smiling as always, happy to see his friend and eager to discuss plan for the future not that many of his daughter were nearing adulthood.

"Are you well?"

Syr
The large pale male smiles widely, he could say without a doubt that there were few lions whom he could truly call friend, Achal was one of them and while he had his own methods of being a Pad, certainly Achal had improved his ideas towards females. He knew how to appreciate them in their own ways now though he didn't doubt he still had a some what harder paw than the mild mannered achal.

"yes it has been a while. Well as you probably know Kifa has finally settled and Amara gave birth to a litter of cubs. not mine as you know but I love the little mites." he clears his throat, the word love hardly ever came in to his vocabulary but he did adore the cubs, they were wonderful, it had softened his outlook a lot more just knowing that they were there small and innocent. the fact that one day Amara would produce him some cubs pleased him to no end but that wasn't why he was here.

"Another litter? Congratulations my friend, I'm hoping that kifa will produce me some cubs soon. She's much calmer now than she was when I first brought her in." Shaking his head he smiles, he had managed in the course of less than a minute managed to splurge all of his news, Achal had a way of making him small talk, it was easy to talk to him, he was his friend.

"I um, yes I have been meaning to come and talk to you to. I'm afraid having cubs about has kept my mind occupied but i met a daughter of yours not to long back. Thuraya." He smiles a slightly wistful smile, clearing his throat for what he had to say next though he wasn't entirely sure how to broach the subject. Can I take her home sounded too blunt and I'd like to add her to my harem just sounded too brash. perhaps Achal would simply get the idea? He coughs slightly foolishly, he had never done this before.

Kaori
"That is very wonderful news to hear my friend. I am glad that your harem is doing so well and being a father as well, even if they are not you proud. I am sure you will be blessed with more cubs in the future, you are young and capable," he assured giving a hearty laugh.

Achal raised an eyebrow at his tiny daughter name, then gave a small grin. "I take it you have taken a liking to her then." Achal beamed from a moment before moving a bit closer. He dropped his voice low, "That is precisly what I have been wanted to talk to you about and now I guess it is time for me to make good on my promise."

Syr
Kweas ears flickered a little, wait, what? His smile streaks across his face and his blood red eyes catch a very pleased glimmer. "Oh yes, she is very beautiful and so well behaved. I can only hope that my daughters will be as good as her." he clears his throat a bit, his tail flickering around his toes. "I was hoping I could speak to you about her, about her joining my Harem, when she is old enough of course."

He smiles bashfully, he had actually fallen for the well behaved, quiet, lovely little female and he was so pleased that Achal seemed to be agreeable to him speaking to her.

Kaori
Achal continued to smile, "That is very good to hear, it mean that she has been raised well. I am very proud of my daughter and very happy that she has caught your attention."

Achal rose and motioned for Kwea to follow him, "I promised some time ago that one of my daughters would come to you if you became a good an honorable pad. I have to say I am very happy that it is Thuraya who caught your eye. I was worried about her small stature, but my answer is, you are more than welcome to have her join your harem. She is very near the age where she should be leaving and I am glad to see her go to you."

Achal looked to Kwea, "You will of course promise me that you will take good care of her and treat her well."

Syr
The pale male smiles. Her stature? He hadn't even noticed she was small, he had been so smitten with the pretty lioness with her perfect manners and beautiful eyes. Plus that she was so well behaved, how could she not be though? Being the daughter of Achal, he really was like a role model to him. Able to raise his daughters so they were just perfect.

"Of course Achal. I will make sure she is well cared for and honoured, I have been working hard, on my temper problems. Amara has helped, and the cubs, they keep me calmer than I have ever felt. I swear, i will keep her safe and cared for." He smiles a proud, half smile, He was so very pleased with himself for being agreeable to Achal, to take on one of his daughters, the little blue Banu of his dreams. Well he was mightily pleased with himself.

He followed Achal quietly with his blood red maned head held high. "You do me a great honour Achal, one day I will repay your kindness."

Kaori
"You have turned out well and to you that you are working on the problems that you have is the mark of a true adult lion. You repay the kindness in the treatment of my daughter and many grandcubs in the future. Those I think are the best ways to repay me. Though so you know repayment really isnt necessay."

Achal sat and looked up to the sky, "Today is turning out to be a very good day. I hope my sons and daughters will all find fruitful futures."

Syr
Kwea smiles lightly. he knew he had problems, but his problems were with those who didn't want to be at his side. He knew that Thuraya wanted to be with him and he cow;don't wait for her to join him. To be one of his harem to show he could be a good Pad to those whom truly deserved it.

"I can guarantee that sir." He whispers getting back to hi paws. "I should go and tell Kifa and Amara the news." He smiles a charming smile, nodding to Achal. "I'll come and visit Thuraya soon, if that is okay. You will tell her I am thinking of her?" He nods his head in a small bow at the older wiser male.

Kaori
Achal smiled at Kwea sudden cublike enthusiam. "Visit as often as you like and I will most certainly tell her that you are thinking of her."

Achal rose and turned heading back to his den intent on finding is very lucky littly girl.

Syr
With a smile on his paw the red maned male trotted off towards his den. he had news for the rest of his harem, great news. They would be joined by a third. he was MOST pleased that he had managed to talk to Achal and that his friend, yes, his friend hadn't objected to him taking in the mild mannered Thuraya.

He was on top of the world and he would go home and lavish some affection on his Harem.
