Thuraya woke up early, she looked around her new den it was strange thinking of it as her den. She slept near the front of the den with Kwea and Kifa close by, further back slept Ama with her cubs. Thuraya thought she was adjusting well to her new life in Kwea's harem but at the same time she missed her father and mother's.

Slowly the young blue lioness rose to her paws and stretched, she was the youngest of Kwea's banu, but she tried very hard to be a very good banu she wanted to make everyone proud. Thuraya ducked out of the den, the sun was still low in the sky it was very early morning and not main other's were awake in the pride.

Amara rose with a stretch, still achy and sore from ..her.. fight with Kwea. She was careful to roll away from her cubs ever so slowly, not wanting to cause them to stir. They'd been more active lately, getting out and making friends. It made Amara ever so happy. Her life had never been better. Not only was she Kwea's Beybanu, but she was a mother and her family was wonderful.

Kwea had brought another lioness into their family. Amara hoped she wasn't much like Kifa was; the rainbow-eyed lioness hadn't given Amara the most friendly greeting, but nonetheless Amara hadn't let that sway her from being a Beybanu that Kwea could be proud of.

Gazing about the den, she noticed that there was someone missing. The pretty blue lioness that Kwea had just brought into his harem was not sleeping like the others. An early riser like herself? Amara stepped outside, gazing around with sleepy eyes.

Thuraya turned as she heard someone else come out of the den, wondering if it was Kwea one of the other's or a cub. She would be happy to see any of the others she hadn't really had a chance to get to know any of them, and she did so despertly want to get to know everyone and make a good impression.

She smiled when she say that it was Amara that had come out of the den behind her. She smiled pleasently, she had yet to talk to the beybanu of her new home "Good Morning." she said quietly, it was rare for Thuraya to talk in anything above a whisper, "I do hope that I didn't wake you leaving."

Oh, how refreshing! Such a polite lioness, Amara couldn't help but smile. "Good morning. You didn't wake me. I enjoy waking early and catching a moment of sanity before the cubs awaken. They take most of my time and energy." She spoke softly, not wanting to risk the chance that she might rouse Kwea. He hadn't been sleeping well since the night that he fought Sarai and scarred Amara; her love needed his rest where he could get it.

"I did not have a chance to welcome you to Kwea's harem. I am Beybanu Amara. The one sleeping next to him now is Kifa, and the cubs.. well, it would be easier to distinguish them when they are not sleeping in a pile."

She chuckled softly, pink gaze on the other lioness. She was ever so curious about how she'd come to be in Kwea's harem, but it was hardly a question one would ask when Amara hadn't been properly introduced!

"It is nice to meet you Amara. My name is Thuraya, I am daughter of Achal another Pad here in the pride." Thuraya smiled while she spoke of her father, he was a kind Pad who had treated her very well and found her a Harem to go to that would welcome her. "My father is a friend of Kwea's but I met Kwea on my own, and Kwea came to my fahter and asked for me." Thuraya was very happy to have been sought after. She was the first one of her father''s girls to go out on her own.

"I feel very lucky to be here, and I am glad that I am getting this chance to meet my new Beybanu. I do hope that I can help you out and fit in well here." Thuraya looked towards the den again, wondering about the cubs Amara had talked about. "Your cubs how old are they, how many do you have?" she talked quickily when talking about the cubs, she loved little ones.

Amara shook her head, "I have never been in a pride," she murmured softly, looking up towards the ever-brightening sky. "Kwea found me and brought me to this pride, and I am very thankful he did. I could not imagine raising four cubs on my own with no help."

Amara smiled at Thuraya's offer. "I thank you much for your offer, Thuraya. I do need assistance as often as I can; Kifa doesn't have much of a soft touch with the cubs. Do not be alarmed if you are given the cold shoulder by that one, and if she does more than speak to you with icy words, I would like to know about it."

She didn't want to come off as making Kifa sound like a terrible Banu. She wasn't, and Kifa was very dedicated to Kwea. Nonetheless, she didn't want Thuraya feeling unwelcome.

Thuraya listened politely she tried to absorb everythig that Amara had to tell her she wanted to make sure that she knew all that was possible to understand the dynamics of this particular harem, every harem had a different way of working. Thuraya found herself looking into the den at the pile of sleeping cubs she found that it warmed her heart a little, though she was still young she found that she was excited to have cubs.

Thuraya felt butterflies in her stomach when Amara mentioned the other banu who shared the den with them, Kifa was a beautiful lioness and Thuraya found herself drawn to the other lioness she assuemed it was because the lioness was so bright in colors. Thuraya found that she was often drawn to color it wa appealing.

"I can't wait to meet all your cubs, and hopefully they will like me." Thuraya was kind of worried that the cubs might not welcome a new comer to there home, they were young and if they hadn't been born in the pride so perhaps they didn't understand the way the pride was... they might not like it.
