The bright blue lioness waddled out of her den, there was no longer any other words to describe how she moved. Thuraya now slept at the back of the den with Amara and her cubs. She was no longer able to hunt for her family instead the very large lioness did nothing all day it would have bothered her a lot being so useless but she knew she was providing Kwea with something he desired, a family, cubs of his very own.
Laying down under a tree Thruaya groaned a little. She was barely of cub bearing age and she was very pregnant. She wondered how many little ones were in there some days she was sure there was at least then though she knew that wasn't possible. None the less there had been many sleepless nights lately as she was unable to find a way to sleep with such a large tummy and cubs that seemed to always be moving.
Thuraya was anxious for the day the cubs would come. She knew Amara and Kifa would be there to help her but there was still a lot she didn't know about waht was going to happen. Thuraya had never witnessed a birth and with her being so young she was sure it wasn't going to be easy. Thuraya really had no idea what she was in for.

Kifa certainly treated Thruaya a lot differently then Amara when she had been loaded with cubs. She tended to her a lot as well as went out of her way to check on her. Kifaranga grinned as she carried a plump rabbit in her mouth. They seemed more rare to catch around her so she was rather proud. To her there meat was sweet and such a treat. She had already fed Kwea so this was Thuraya's rabbit.
Kifa followed her friend's scent till she found the plump lioness under a tree. She trotted over to her and plopped the rabbit down. "Look what I got just for you Thuraya my friend. Hope you like rabbit its my favorite." The little song bird chirped. Even though her eyes hadn't gone back to their normal color having spent the night out with Kwea had made her a little more optimistic.

Thuraya could smell the meat the Kifa was caring before she could see or smell Kifa. The scent was amazing and she lifted her head ever so slightly to look to see where the scent was coming from.. She smilled when she saw her brightly colored female coming her way. Thuraya was aware that her fellow sisters didn't get along but at the same time she loved them both dearly.
"MMM Kifa you brought me my favorite, what indeed would I do without you." she said lightly as she took the hare from Kifa and began to eat it, the cubs inside of her made the lioness always hungry.

Kifa lay down near Thuraya to rest for awhile in the shade before she head out again to hunt for herself. She looked over her friend's pregnant body and she couldn't help but sigh a little. She wished she could be lazing under the tree with Thuraya just as fat with cubs.
"Hmm I suppose you would suffer." Kifa said in a joking manner. "How are you feeling my sister?" She asked putting her head on her paws as she watched the younger lioness devour the hare.

Amara had been out watching her cubs, a wary eye always on the entrance to the den she shared with Kwea, Kifa, Thuraya and her cubs. She knew Thuraya was heavy with cubs of her own and half-expected the young lioness to give birth at any time. She was so rotund in her pregnancy and Amara had lain awake with her through many long, sleepless nights.
Spotting movement from the corner of her eye, Amara watched Thuraya emerge from the entrance to the den. Amara couldn't help but smile; it was not so long ago that she herself was fat with cubs, and Thuraya, smaller and younger than Amara herself, was going to be a wonderful mother.
With almost a motherly eye Amara watched Thuraya rest in the shade. From a distance she watched Kifa approach with a fat little hare, and the gesture brought a smile to Amara's face. While her own relationship with Kifa was still strained at times, Amara knew the beautiful, bright lioness was kind at heart. This was only confirmed when Kifa laid the hare down for Thuraya to eat, and Amara decided to give them a few moments alone before making her approach. She wanted to check on Thuraya.

Padding up behind Amara the pale sleek form of the bloody maned lion licked her cheek on the way past. "It's nice to see you all in one place." He whispers padding up to Thuraya he lays down beside her and touches his nose to her rotund belly. "How are my babies?" He rumbles looking to Kifa and lifting his head just a touch to lick her nose.
"You're working so hard Kifa, I'm sure Thuraya appreciates it." He smiles a sweet, adoring smile at the soft green lioness, she needed to know he appreciated her as much as the little pregnant adolescent.
He turns his chin back to Thurayas stomach and lays his nose there for a moment. "Behave yourselves for your mother babies." he whispers, his ears flickering back and vanishing in to his silky mane.

Amara rose to follow Kwea, figuring that now was as good as any time to make her approach. She nodded a greeting to Kifa before turning her attention to Thuraya.
An odd twinge settled in her belly, watching Kwea with Thuraya. His gesture brought a smile to her face. He seemed happy, and that thrilled Amara.
"Are you feeling alright, Thuraya?" She spoke softly, not wanting to interrupt Kwea's gentle moment with his youngest Banu and their unborn cubs.

Kifa smiled as Kwea licked her nose then she turned to smile at her younger sister. She lay to her side her head touching Thuraya, trying to be affectionate and comforting to the young lioness. Kifa for once made no grumpy sounds at Amara's approach it was for Thuraya sake only though. Kifa closed her eyes for once feeling at peace with those around her. Her eyes shot open as she felt a little pain in her stomach. "Hmm though I hate to leave, I might have to go hunting again. My stomach hurts from the lack of food in it I think." Kifa mumbled not wanting to interrupt, she only wished to convey that she would leave soon. "But I'll stay for now..I've felt do drained lately..." Her eyes closed again. "Are you still Hungry Thuraya, or thirsty? I can fetch you something." Kifa's words were sluggish as if she was ready to fall asleep then and there.

((can I just point out this rp is awesome XD! Kwea with all his ladies **giggles and wriggles**))
Kwea lifted his head to look at Kifa, he had been busy nosing at Thurayas stomach but a concerned look crossed his maw. "You will not hunt any more today Kifa, you need to rest, you have been looking far too peaky of late, perhaps I have over worked you." He snorts and shakes his head, he was still concerned about Kifa, she was still not her usual self still.
He looks back at Amara, "Will you hunt today? I will watch the cubs." He chuckles, it was a gesture he had never made before. There was no need for him to watch the young juveniles, that was a Banu's job, but Kifa seemed sick and tiny Thuraya was far too heavy with cubs to run around so he would watch the cubs for a few hours while Amara hunted for all of them. "Not yet, I like having you all together like this." he purrs happily touching Amaras cheek with his nose.
Finally turning his attention back to Thuraya he licks her over grown belly and purrs. He did very much like laying here with all his banu and his future babies at the same time. Thuraya was so big! He was sure she would burst any day now and he would have a while beautiful litter of children. He was very excited.

Amara couldn't help but shoot Kifa a worried look. Kwea was right, Kifa was looking a little off. "Of course, Kwea. I will be off as soon as Kifa makes it safely back to the den." She was worried for the other lioness; though they didn't get along well, Amara still considered herself responsible for the rainbow-lioness; she was Beybanu, after all. Despite her worry, she couldn't help but smile at Kwea's offer to watch the cubs.
((*really enjoying this RP*))

(( I love this family period, ok I am going to get the ball rolling have them make it back to the den and labour begin))
Thuraya was enjoying the peice, she purred when Kwea cuddled into her stomach. Thuraya noticed that the cubs stilled when Kwea nuzzled her and she figured it was because they enjoyed there father's snuggles even through her. Thuraya was a little out of it, she was enjoying her nicely fed state and te fact that her family was all around her.
As she sat Thuraya noticed suddenly noticed a twinge in her stomach, actually it was more then a twinge it was a pain, it was really painfull. The blue lioness cringed with the pain very unhappy all of a sudden, why why did it hurt so much had Kwea pushed to hard. She moved away quickly getting to her feet all in one movement.
"It hurts I have to go I don't want to be outside." the lioness was in just about a state of panic now something was wrong and she didn't understand.. she paced back and forth. Not really waiting for the others she began to head towards the den, she felt bad inturupting the time they were having together. It was so rare that they all got to spend time together and it be peicefull. "I am sorry" she said as she walked quickly to the den, of course her stomach didn't allow her to move all that quickly. She was very worried what if there was something wrong with the cubs.

Kifa opened her eyes to look at Kwea with a raised eyebrow. He has sure been acting overly sweet lately. Was it his first cubs on the way that had put him in such a mood. If so the banu should make a steady flow of them to keep him that way. "No not over worked at all my pad." Kifa forced a larger smile then she had managed in awhile. Her eyes seemed tired though and her ears drooped. "But thank you Kwea, I don't feel well....today especially." Kifa looked away for a moment. She had not been hunting any more or less and she wasn't as depressed so how could this be from that? Was she getting sick?
Kifaranga eyes Amara she didn't know rather to welcome such concern for her or be cautious. But once she nodded to the Beybanu and got to her paws. They shook underneath her, well yes she had yet to eat but this was ridiculous. "I think I need to head to the den now, Kwea. ...I promise we can all be together like this again." She had seen how happy it made him so perhaps she could accept Amara every now and again. Even though the lioness just seemed to rub her fur the wrong way. She glanced at Amara before starting to walk to the den. "Please let me know......" Kifa was about to say let her know how Thuraya is doing later but Thuraya interrupted her with a sound of alarm in her voice. Kifa's head snapped back to look over at Thuraya. The lioness's protective instincts taking over every ache in her body. "Sister?!" Kifa moved to one side of Thuraya hoping Amara was already to her other side. Was it time? Were the cubs finally coming? She wanted to make sure Thuraya made it to the den safely so she ignored the twinges in her own insides, even though this was becoming harder as the twinges were starting to hurt a little. But her sister and her nephews and nieces were most important right now.

As Kweas head was perched upon Thuraya stomach he felt the first twinge as she leapt to her paws. He let her go and looked at Amara "It's time." He said this with reverence and a love in his voice that was thick with the joy of it. "be careful kifa." He whispers, concerned by her obvious lack of stability. He would have to get a healer as soon as Thuraya had given birth, he was very concerned for the large green lioness.
He had of course been there all the way through Amaras birth, so he knew the feeling of the labouring stomach. He wanted to be here again, but first, he had to move the cubs. "Go with Thuraya and Kifa, Amara, I'll get the cubs."
Getting to his paws he padded towards Amaras litter and having rounded them up he made beeline for the den. The juvenile lions were lined up against the wall just outside of the den with strict orders not to stray far.
The smile traced his maw as he sat slowly, just in the entrance of the den, letting his eyes adjust to the shadows so he could watch the birth of his first cubs, he would have gone closer but the den was a little too crowded around Thuraya, he didn't want to make the poor girl claustrophobic and he wondered, just how many cubs he was going to have. She was huge, but he had to remember she was only young and she was small for her age, perhaps there were only one or two cubs but they showed up because of her tiny frame?
It didn't matter, the joy he felt wrangled his insides. He was about to be a father, properly a true, honest to god father of cubs that he had created.

Amara did as Kwea asked, herding the other two lionesses back into the den. There was an urgency about her; she knew all too well how labor pains could fell even the most steadfast of lionesses. Her own had been excruciating. With Kifa's assistance she helped guide Thuraya into the safety of the den.
With a gentle look towards Thuraya, she helped the very pregnant lioness closer to a soft pile of bedding. Since Kifa wasn't feeling well, Amara was feeling a bit scattered. "Perhaps you could rest near Thuraya, Kifa? You look unwell, and I'm sure your presence here will help soothe Thuraya, as well." She knew Kwea would want to be here for the birth of his cubs, and Amara didn't want to impose; food would be a necessity and one that Amara would need to shoulder since Kifa was feeling sickly.
She assured herself that the others were settled before she stepped back, awaiting further orders from Kwea.

The pains were coming quicker and more frequently now, and the hurt more and more each and everytime they came. It was awful the young lioness wasn't sure how she was going to do this, her mind was still raising wondering how long this would last, how many cubs were going to be in her. She hoped that Amara would stay, she loved that Kifa was close by but Amara had done this before she could help Thuraya.
A low meow escaped Thuraya's lips she hadn't felt it coming and before she knew what she was doing she felt the need to push. Digging her claws into the beding around her Thuraya bore down as hard as she could. And she felt it, she felt the cub come out. She looked down to see a bundle of blue fur. The first cub was a girl, one who looked a lot like Thuraya herself, but Thuraya was able to see parts of Kwea in her. She smiled a little girl, healthy she looked around for Kwea she wanted to see his approval. "Neelam" Thuraya purred lightly naming her first born.
