Does anyone have any experience with Chickens?

Recently looking into the possibility of raising chickens for eggs.




Specifically looking at getting white leghorns.





Does anyone have any tips, helpful information on raising some hens?

Well, I will probably be of absolutely no help.. but my boyfriend always says how he had to get their wings clipped, because they would get lose and it was harder to catch them before they did that. Otherwise, I know nothing about them. Good luck.

Good Idea, very amusing to watch and the eggs are much tastier than store bought eggs. :3 Also when you get the eggs(ones you will eat) rinse them with water, no soap, or the soap will be soaked into the eggs. Hatching eggs you shouldn't clean at all. Be careful about dogs, lost a Turkin to my dog today when the little chicken escaped. sad
