He guessed his siblings were gone somewhere. So, sitting all alone outside of the Den, Nasira lay his head on his paws, watching some not-so-fun bugs skitter by.. He really liked the sounds the bigger ones made, and he took delight in it. So he was in reality 'practicing' to become a Demon, thanks to some help from his sister, Daelote.

It was just about then, that Amashen happened by. He was actually looking for his mate and so walked right by the little pink cub without even looking at his son - heading into the den. That one ... he really didn't care too much for or about. The cub was too lightly-colored, not even a proper demon. All the rest were okay, though 'Shen didn't have much time for cubs -anyway-.

Nasira glared at his father, eyes narrowing, fur bristling. Calming himself he ran over to 'Shen, and grinned up at him, tail flicking, "I caught some food today. and some bugs, so I could get their pretty wings!" He said this, eagerly, hoping for his father's approval.

'Shen paused then, glancing down. He frowned at the little annoyance. "Good for you," he muttered, the tone quite obviously sarcastic. "Maybe you can decorate the den with them, or put some in your fur to look nice for all the little slave-girls." He snorted. Pretty wings... what a joke.

His fur stood on end, and he snapped, "I made if for Daelote. I couldn't sleep, and she was currently the only one available. I don't need pretty things. I'm going to be a great demon." His voice was strong

'Shen blinked, and then laughed softly. "Not sure how you're gonna do that, but have fun~" he said dismissively, and went to step around the cub to go into the den. He was fairly sure by this point that Tiis wasn't here, but might as well check.

He bristled and charged his father, pouncing upon his back and biting at an ear. This HAD to get right.

'Shen made a little startled sound at that, tensing more than -jumping-. But it didn't take him long to reazlize what had happened. With a growl, he snapped his head sharply to one side, trying to fling the cub off.

Nasira dug his claws into the other's shoulder, and he snarled. He wasn't letting go, and was NOT going to give the other satisfaction of knowing he was about to loose his grip. He HAD to prove this to 'Shen! HAD TO!

Hmn... so the brat was tenacious, huh? Well, 'Shen had other options. Jumping up into the air quite suddenly, he flipped around so that he would land on his back - on top of the cub. Little idiot.

As soon as he felt it, though, he released and dropped, rolling as quickly as he could though a paw still got caught under 'Shen's back, "AH!" He let out a yowl, and closed his eyes, fur bristling. He was good at this...

At that little yowl, 'Shen smirked and bounced back to his feet. Then he lashed out at his son with a paw. And this was no playful slap either... there were -claws- involved.

He felt his cheek scored with a claw as he dodged back. Fast and fierce, Nasira charged his father, teeth bared and claws swiping "NOT LOOSING!"

'Shen blinked once, and then laughed at that. "You've already lost," he declared, taking a step back. He was larger, stronger, and faster. And the other was a slave.

Nasira glared at him, his fur bristling, and his teeth bared, "Father, I have not. I will be able to match you as I get older, and I SWEAR I will prove to you that I am as much a Demon as you and Mother."

'Shen smirked at that. "Swear all you like, little insect... " he purred, suddenly sounding pleased with the world. "We shall see..."

He flinched at the name, and snapped, "I am not an INSECT. I am your SON. My name is Nasira. And I am a DEMON." His snarl was deep, and unlike his usual cowardly self. There was ICE in black eyes usually so full of emotion.

One brow slowly went up at that. Hmmn... perhaps he was, after all. Not that 'Shen was about to -admit- such, but he rather liked what he was seeing now. "You are whatever I say that you are," he intoned in reply. "And right now? You're annoying." Then he turned and started away.

Coldly, Nasira simply said, "I am what I become. And you will not stop me from my destiny, FATHER." He simply hissed that, and, in a stupid, and daring moved darted in, and aimed what would be a rather vicious blow with his claws at his father, before turning to leave himself.

'Shen spun at that with a snarl - feeling the score of small claws on one hind leg. But this time, he didn't chase the cub... simply watching him walk away. Little idiot. He would learn... in time.
