My country is the same, on 11th too. I believe it because whether they have seen the new moon. This also depends on the country's geography. Some countries (like mine) are located where the new moon cant be seen clearly. Thus, we used 'Hisab' system. To know more about the system, u can go to : http://id.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hisab_dan_rukyatIt is in Indonesian, so u need to translate it using Googles Translator to English. I hope this will help. smile

She's Swedish, im Danish. We don't see the new moon here.
In Pakistan a man (he is old and said to be blind) must see the moon.
In Saudi they follow islamic rules, so when 1 person saw the moon, it's ramadhan smile And their system is also very atronomical, they know exactly when the moon will come smile
I follow Saudi, cuz the prophet said sumthing like: if 1 man sees the moon, it's ramadhan smile

Exactly smile It really annoys me that Pakistan has ramadhan and eid special days, because someone has to see the moon. So it's always 1 day later.
