Posting Information:

Regulations: This information is important if you are at all confused about the posting styles you should and can use at certain times.

Not knowing will not get you in much trouble at all, usually just a post from a crew member explaining what you did wrong or advising you to read this page, but if you are obviously just ignoring these simple rules, you may be banned depending on the circumstances.

Note: Once you officially post, the post style cannot be changed even if you try and edit it, so if your post is in the wrong style it will have to be deleted by us, and we will do so.

Role Play Posting:

Normal Role Play Posts - Normal role play involving the interaction, and thoughts of characters can have any posting style except 'think' and 'ornate' they are meant for certain posts only.

Role Play Posts with OOC Conversation - After typing the actions, and/or reactions of your character you may start a conversation in OOC.

Example: ((Hey, sorry I'm late.))

Example: ((Awesome pic!!! :'D))

That is permitted, but posts that have no character interaction must be posted as explained below in the OOC Posting information.

OOC Posting:

OOC Posts - During role play there are times when people talk completely out of character, or OOC. These must be posted in the 'think' post style that is shown around this post. ONLY use the 'think' post style on OOC posts.



This will make it easier for those who may be role playing in the same forum, but are not involved with the OOC conversation to see which posts are relevant to them. It will also be easier for the crew members when it comes time to clear out these OOC posts to do so.

Note: Using the 'think' post style as the border of your character profiles is completely acceptable if you really want to.

Crew Postings:

Crew Role Play Posts - During role play the crew and captains are restricted by the same rules, we like to set an example, and this is how we do so.

Crew and the Ornate Post Style - Crew and up are the only ones allowed to use this post style. They can NOT use it for normal posting purposes, or for normal OOC posts, because during that time they are just role playing like everyone else.

When they do use this posting style it is for specific reasons such as making an informational forum like this one, or when speaking as a crew member, reprimanding, correcting, or answering others.



This is so it is easier for guild members to find authentic information from a higher up, not just advisement from other members.

Note: Using the 'ornate' post style as the border of your character profiles is completely acceptable if you really want to.
