+++++++Michael Águistín is a man of stature. His full bodied, muscular frame was meant to over shadow his opponents and intimidate them with size. A rigorous training anaerobic regiment has sculpted his body to mimic herculean myth. His face is no different. Facial structure is symmetrical, his jawline strong, but his face weathered by age and experience. Michael has unnatural white hair that stems from heredity while he sports a black beard. His eyes are a dull blue, unlike others who have bright navy blue eyes, his irises are much lighter, more gray, and similar to a blueish tint of steel.
+++++++The top part of Michael's Shihakushō appears to be made out of a rough leather-like material and its arms are designed to be braided. One the neck is a brim of white fur. His hakama-himo is grey and straitated with black, while his hakama is replaced by hakama-like pants with cloud designs. Often, grunting is form of communication for Michael. When he does speak, his voice is deep and menacing regardless of context, gravelly due to tobacco smoking in the past life, and reminiscent of the goddamn Batman.

+++++++Michael may seem to be neanderthal in his mannerisms from time to time. He prefers to be quiet and communicates in grunts and audible noises. Michael believes that actions are worth more than words and Michael does not like his voice. When he does speak, Michael proves to be graciously blunt. He is a reclusive man. Michael is meticulous in his actions. This man prefers to execute his tasks in a timely and efficient manner and will retreat into seclusion from others when finished. He prefers the quiet and chooses secluded areas of Soul Society with a book.

+++++++His jaw is often clenched and brow is furrowed. This leads others to believe that he is angry. On the contrary, Michael is almost never angry as he has no reason to be. He is always in his head, and his rough features hides a face of concentration. As an observer-type, Michael prefers to stand behind the scenes and calculate the consequences and effects. He would prefer to be several steps ahead of others. Though he is quiet and peaceful, he has no objections to violence, destruction, and even killing.He is amoral to many actions, having a neutral position on things or disregarding the others opinion. Michael's nature is complex, secretive and his nature is always a surprise.
Biography and History:
+++++++Michael Águistín was born during the 13th century in France. He was a well educated child from a very privileged family. The Águistín family were wealthy landowners and Michael was sent to academy at an early age. After University, at sixteen, Michael joined the French legions. During the ninth crusade, Michael joined the effort to retake the Holy Land. He proved to be a great general at a young age with his ruthless, but yet strategic tactics. During a surprise attack on the eve of his birthday, Michael was fatally wounded.
+++++++Fate had brought him into the Spirit World. After wandering the afterlife world for many hundreds of years, he settled near the border limits. Living as a recluse within the woods, Michael seldom went into towns. He would randomly help others in the nearby communities, either by plowing fields, building and fixing huts, or even doing household chores for others. During these visits, he would barter or trade for books and information. During a Hollow attack on a nearby village, Michael rushed to help. He would be near the brink of death, but the manifestation of his Zanpakuto saved his life. After disappearing, Michael was left dying, until a recovery an rescue team from the Gotei 13 discovered his body. Sensing his potential and dormant spiritual energy, he was advised to learn in the academy.

Galantine |(Brave Feline): The katana itself is a simple design. It is hilt-less and encased in a oak wood sheath. The spirit within the sword manifests itself in two forms. One manifestation is a large bestial lion with red eyes. It can interchange between the lion and a tall, pale man.

Shikai Release: “Fortes fortuna adiuvat, Galantine “ ( Fortune favors the brave, Galantine)
Shikai: A fierce red aura will surround Galantine’s sheath before it is engulfed in a fiery onslaught of flames in which seems to be harmless within Michael’s hands. As its former sealed self disintegrates, it is replaced with a large purple pole-arm. Its spearhead is constantly surrounded by flames. The beauty of Galantine’s physical form as a spear allows Michael to retain all fluid motions and attack from a safe range. With its seven foot length, and Michael’s wingspan of four feet, his attacking radius becomes ten feet in diameter. The flames can deceive the opponent about its length as the flames are in constant motion and emits from the tip. The fire feeds on reiatsu and Reiryoku as an oxidizer and can increase in energy, thus making it wider, longer, and hotter. Michael seems to have a very high tolerance to the temperature and the flames.
Shikai | Abilities and Techniques
Ignition Point | Galantine’s spearhead is a “secret spice” combination of volatile ingredients. It matches the atomic fingerprints of explosive materials. Using the flames as a catalyst, Michael can increase the temperature of the flame to ignite the tip of his spear. Upon contact, Michael can deliver an explosive blow.
Fire Arches | By increasing the flow of fire, Galantine can become one fluid arch of flames while Michael can wield it offensive and defensively.
Burning Land | A crowd control measure. Galantine’s temperature rises to emit total white flames, the hottest core temperature that Galantine can handle before it itself becomes unusable. A visible heat wave emits from the body of the pole-arm while white flames dance around it and Michael’s arm. This technique burns the ground and will attach to anything flammable. To maintain this temperature, it will draw from any free Reiryoku in the air from combustion. His arm is susceptible to pain and risks burning his own flesh within four posts.
Galantine’s Comet | A projectile technique that has an area of affect, Galantine is thrown at a particular target area. Upon contact, it will entirely combust and destruct, releasing not only a destructive explosion of energy, but white hot flames will consume an entire twenty-foot radius. After the initial release of flames, the fire will continuously spread, eating any Reiryoku around to sustain itself for three posts. After three posts, Galantine will revert to it's sealed state.

Bankai: Galantine gifts Michael with celestial armor of 12 parts that increases his strength endurance and defense as well as heighten his reflexes but limits his mobility and speed. Michael cannot perform Shunpo as well and will struggle in keeping up with faster opponents. On the other hand, his Reiryoku reserves are increased and streamlined. The pole arm disappears and reshapes itself to a large claymore. Michael turns into a walking tank. Michael's bankai is meant to be a siege measure, favoring a battle with many opponents.
If more than 9 pieces armor is destroyed, used, or disappears, Michael regains mobility, speed, and full Shunpo, but strength, defense and endurance normalize, and techniques become less powerful. His offensive techniques are still fire based, but rely on combustion and explosion.
Bankai Techniques and Abilities|
Think of Michael's reiatsu as electricity and the twelve armor pieces as separate converters. His spiritual energy in Bankai is a continuous bleed, and the armors act like valves. The reiatsu strengthens the durability of the armor. A sealed zanpakuto will literally break upon contact. This armor causes intense pressure on Michael's body, limiting his movement and speed. Shunpo will become difficult task when used repeatedly. The armor streamlines his Reiryoku use. Kido spells require less amount of energy to perform the same devastating effects. His armor is a gauge of the amount of Reiryoku Michael can use. The plates of these armors contain explosive materials that are combustible by heat.
Furnace Aura| Michael's striking radius is filled with a red aura that emits high temperatures. Michael can self combust fire around his striking distance.
Galantine’s Meteor Shower | Like Galantine’s Comet, by raising his sword Michael can create spears in the air. These projectiles can come in consecutive numbers up to five. They are smaller than the seven foot spear, reducing their size to a mere four feet length. Every contact made by a spear combusts and explodes in the target area engulfing it in flames of a seven foot radius. For every fifteen spears made, an armor piece is used.
Ignition Plate | His armor, much like his spear tip, can be combustible. By using his own flames, Michael can instantly ignite his armor to provide an explosive effect upon contact. Michael can self destruct each plate armor three times before disappearing.
Galatine’s Stars | Raising his sword, Michael can summon up to two large white hot fireballs with a 5 foot span. He can launch it towards a target and it has a destruction radius of 10 feet. For every four he uses, he loses another armor piece.
Galantine’s Gatling Cannon | Galantine is ignited in flames. By pointing it at target it can release a continuous barrage of energy that upon contact instantaneously combusts and explodes. For every three posts he uses this technique, he loses an armor piece.
Nova | All pieces of the armor is destroyed, and the sword cracks. A hike in temperature with a visible heat wave is noticed. Michael, with this technique, becomes a bomb. With him in the center, anything in a forty-foot radius is continuously burned by a fiery release of reiatsu. It will continuously burn until it eats all spiritual energy in that radius, thus making anything in the circle nothing but ash. Michael is reduced to his pre-Bankai state and will be severely injured.

Bakudo #4.Hainawa | (Crawling Rope) An energy rope that entangles the target's arms
Bakudo #9 Hōrin | (Disintegrating Circle): Causes an orange hued tendril with spiraling yellow patterns to erupt from the users hand and attempt to trap a target. the end of it remains in the hands of the user allowing them to control the path of the tendril before and after capture. The Kidō is able to connect with another one of itself if both have captured a target and bind them together.
