And now... she was here.
Dumisha had been a thorn in his side at first, just an irritating burr of a lioness who seemed to find the need to prove herself. At Kali's paws no less. Mind, she had improved since last they had battled, and when she had appeared on the edges of Firekin land, he had dueled her, insisting that the spitfire prove herself before she took one pawstep further. They had fought to a standstill, forcing the male to recognize her skills. But he had not beaten her, and this, he had noted, seemed to bother her terribly. Now if only he could get her to stop finding him at the most awkward times, trying to challenge him yet again as though she could swipe him into the dust with her claws.
Not likely. Currently he had positioned himself behind a patch of rocks near the cliffs, crimson eyes half-lidded in the heat. A moment of peace and quiet would surely not go amiss. He didn't mind conversation or a rowdy tussle now and again, but when the same person threw herself at him over and over in the most violent of manners, he found that he'd rather take a vacation from the onslaught. Keh. He snorted, one ear flickering in annoyance. He had never understood women, and he rather doubted that he ever would.

 Huojin had just finished some training and was making his way past the area that Mzimu'motokali happened to be hiding out at. he raised a brow as he started to slowly pass the other male. " enjoying some lazy time i see." it wasn't that he was looking down on the male, he was just pointing the obvious. he did enjoy a bit of relaxing from time to time but it wasn't often he ever did it. always on the go, Huojin was constantly training or sparing.

Slowly his gaze swiveled to his fellow pride-member, and he nodded slowly, "Oh you've no idea..." He muttered, slowly pulling himself to a sitting position with a groan as lazy muscles were forced to work once more. "I'm hiding from a crazy lioness, you see." And that was just the short of it. He wondered if this fellow might have any advice as to what to do with a lady that wouldn't leave you alone.
His mother likely would have thrown a hissy fit if she knew that Kali was avoiding a girl. But then again, she wouldn't have understood this terrible dilemma. Dumisha was no ordinary lioness, that much was for certain.

Huojin couldn't help but chuckling a bit. oh how he knew the annoyance that females could cause. he had a childhood female friend that constantly had to try to show she was better than him. but huojin was stubborn and still believed that males were better atlest until one beat some sense into him. " females are a pain that is for sure." he probably wasn't the best to ask for advice when it came to females since he really was still rather young even though he was a full grown adult.

Kali snorted, "Well they aren't all that troublesome, but this one seems intent on dueling me until she can wrestle me into the sands. It hasn't happened yet, but that doesn't stop her trying." Really, she wouldn't be half bad if she could just drop that one, peculiar facet of their interactions. Not that that was going to happen anytime soon.
"Have you had any woes with the fairer sex?" He inquired mildly, trying to make polite conversation. For some reason, all of his interactions lately had been with lionesses. It was refreshing to talk to a sturdy male for once, it meant he could get away with saying things like this without fearing an irritated swipe of razor-sharp claws.

Huojin could only laugh for a moment since his situation reminded him of his. " you can say i know what your going through. theres a female who i known since a cub that is hell bent on proving females are better than males or atlest up to par." grinning somewhat, it was refreshing to him to beable to talk to another male that wasn't family for once or wasn't a female." but i will never allow her to best me at anything."
