I was scanning the covers of the various gun magazines down at the market when my eyes fell on a very disturbing sight.

A Taurus The Judge 2.5 inch polymer frame.

At least the cylinder is steel. I'm not really a fan of hybrid barrels.

The Judge - Novelty

Polymer Judge - Harder-recoiling, even uglier novelty.

I'm not a fan.

Now I do like their revolver-carbines. At least I think that's who made them... Might be Rossi.

theyre copying ruger..

anyways if polymer construction only sheds off 2oz from the weapon then I am not impressed

compare that to the weight of the polymer frame (the idea taurus copied) ruger LCR weighing in at 13.5oz

theyre both different calibers yes but if youre only taking 2oz off 29oz dont even bother

my bad, 29oz is the 3 inch metal frame judge.

the same judge with the metal frame is 28.2 oz

all that effort in coming out with a polymer judge was even more wasted.
it's only 1.2oz lighter

s**t is so future, though!

Actually, I like the looks of the poly Judge. And plastic is always matte, too. If they were the same price, I'd go polymer, I think.
