Yup, that's me..right there..
I'm a military wife and mother of a two year old little hellion..ahum..I mean sweet little boy. He really is a sweet heart, I swear. He's just going through his terrible twos. The picture below would be that sweet little boy of mine.
Don't let the cute demeanor get you. Inside I swear there is a creature bent on my destruction.
I often get asked for avi art which I do on occasion, when my muse isn't hiding from me. The thing about my muse is that you must understand is, the damnable creature lives in my head. Sometimes she's there, sometimes she's hiding. She not only prompts me to draw, but she inspires me to collect things.
Sometimes the little witch is pushing me to buy overpriced props from antique malls that I might add, are literally thread and bones! Or I find myself purchasing herbs I cannot pronounce or collecting odd bottles of unknown origin. Everything in one corner of my art studio should be labeled like Wonderland except it should all read "Do not eat!" or Do not drink!"
She's a complex entity, and at first all I really caught of her were light and shadows in my peripheral. Occasionally purple eyes would glare at me from a face that was skull like in the lighting.
So sometimes, trying to "get her out" and show her through drawings and such has been a challenge. For the most part, I'm dead on and I can feel her swell with pride when I'm looking at "the drawing". Other times, I feel I'm still "sketching", searching for that angle.
So I experiment, I mess around with different looks for her, try different styles while all the time trying to stay true to her darker core.
