If not, go play it. It's a console-style RPG in the first-person view. If you've played Arcana(also for SNES), SMT's like that, except it looks way more polished. You basically give yourself a name, distribute 18 stat points among six parameters, then repeat for your buddies who join you at later points in the (early) game. The difficulty curve can be tough, and recruiting demons to your cause can be a little difficult. (Note: Demons have a demon type that correspond to an alignment of Light, Neutral, or Dark. You are automatically Light, so Dark demons will never openly join you.) There are three different endings based on whether you side with Law, Chaos, or remain indifferent. (Not to be confused with Light and Dark. Also, demons are also aligned Lawful, Chaotic, or Neutral, and you cannot "befriend" nor summon demons of opposite alignment to yours.)

A pretty darn good game, I'd say. Although you'll probably have to emulate it. As such, there's actually a translation patch(albeit a little buggy in certain areas) so you can actually understand what's going on.
