I had this dream that's stuck with me for a while and I was wondering if you guys could tell me what it might mean.
In the dream I'm thrown into prison for something--probably not shutting up when I should've--and I hear the call to prayer starting up (I know, it's always foreign countries I get thrown in jail, but those're the most likely places where saying something s**t-faced stupid will get me in more trouble than just getting my a** kicked like it would here. My brain imagines, at least).
So, I've been sent a prayer rug, and I ask the guard which way's the qibla. I point it that way and they go and start praying and I start praying in Spanish and I'm writing it out as I go, scooting the rug back so I can have more space to scrawl it onto the floor.
I can't remember the middle part of the prayer, but here're the parts I do remember (hell, maybe the rest will come back to me if I write it out like this). Please forgive my horrible Spanish:
Dios, no soy bueno en este. Yo se. No es mi cosa. Pero, quiero hablar. Necesito hablar. Estoy solo. Y tengo miedo.
Dios, ayudame. Yo se que no soy una buena persona. Y tu sabes que soy una idiota cuando hablo. Pero...
There it sort of faded out and then it came back at the end:
Ojala que tu escuches. Ojala que alguien esta alli.
Paz...y...*
Then I couldn't think of how to say what I wanted to say and noticed the guards were staring at me and that I'd written myself up against the far wall and I woke up.
*Translation of the prayer:
God, I'm not good at this. I know. It's not my thing. But, I want to talk. I need to talk. I'm alone. And I'm afraid.
God, help me. I know that I'm not a good person. And you know that I'm an idiot when I talk. But...
God willing you listen. (I know was meaning to say, 'If you're willing,' but I dunno how) God willing somebody's there.
Peace...and...

I'm not an expert at dream interpretation, but i wish to tell my opinion on this..
probably.. the jail shows that you might have problem(s) (that only you know and no one else does). the prayer - you really wish, & maybe should be done, to do this as one of the solutions to your problem.
I might say it's a good sign though - you are reminded that you still have God that willing to listen to your problems, & you are not alone.
that's my opinion.. forgive me if it is not satisfying. sweatdrop
