Time had hardened the cub pretty significantly. He was used to beatings, abuse, and harsh words. He was well cared for, really, if you excused the anger his father could have sometimes. But he supposed it wasnt his father really..It was his fathers demon. Roth couldnt control his demon any more than any lion in the pride could. The cub was large for a cub, having been told he came from the loins of Roth. Roth wasnt a small lion by any means, but sometimes Sixx had to wonder.. His lime green eyes glittered as he walked through the stones of the pride. He liked the rocky cliffs and ledges. It gave him a sense of freedom, and it also gave him some free time to attempt to find that demon within himself.
His siblings had them..as did his father. What was wrong with him, and why was it so hard to hear it?! Father said give it time, though he had been pretty good at pretending he could hear something..Something looming in the back of his skull.
But for now, he laid his body against the cold stone ground and grinned. Least he was happy..for now.

Higher up in the rocky ledges, a tail twitched. The silvery tuft swiped the stone in jerky motions, and a pair of slitted jade eyes rolled slowly to follow the dark shape moving below. Leyak almost hadn’t seen the dark cub, so camouflaged was he. Now he tried to remember what female had given birth recently. Hadn’t there been a seer in one of the late litters? A dark one by description? Or had that been last season. He sighed silently and rose to his feet, tossing his head. The gesture would have been more impressive were his mane not only just thinly budding, or if he’d been a large lion. He made do though, as he was obviously a fit young male, and started walking down the rocks with a confident stride. “You there,” he called in a negligent casual voice. “Who are you?”

Being yelled at never scared Sixx anymore. He just had no reason to truly fear much of anything. Roth was so protective of his precious seer son, that if anyone dare harm him other than himself, Roth would seek vengeance. Sixx trusted Roth enough to do enough damage in that situation. So he perked his head, black tuft of mane fluttering in his lime green eyes. He blew it out of his eyesight, looking up above him. He saw the male on the rocky ledge, and stood, to make sure if the male jumped, it wouldnt be on him.
"Im S'ixx..Son of Roth." He announced, though cocked his head curiously.
"Who are you?"

Leyak had half hoped the cub would run, if only so he could chase it (in jest of course) for a bit. He stopped his approach at a distance that left the cub out of his reach and made an attacking jump impractical. “Lerath, son of Mahewa and Kasdeya.” He recited their names with some pride. He’d always admired his father, and his mother had been an heir once. He’d learned some time ago that her pregnancy with him and his siblings had annulled her ability to fight for the position for heir, but it was a status worth remembering. “You’re a small one to be so far from your mother.” He cocked a brow at the cub and gave him a sickly grin that seemed to consider dark things.

S'ixx didnt know his mother. He wasnt sure how to react to that as his younger sister had been more a mother than anyone else had ever been. Roth had said mother had abandoned him, and so he thanked whatever Heavens could be thanked for Roth.. Roth had saved his life by taking him in when his mother had abandoned him. He had no idea, and likely never would, that Roth had lied and merely stolen him away before he was old enough to know her face.
"I guess I am. But I dont have a mother, so I guess you could say that no matter where I was Id be without mother. My father is always around however." He made sure to mention, just in case this Adolescent was going to try to harm him. One call from Sixx, and Roth would be at his paws in a flash. Or he liked to think anyway.

No mother? Fires of hell, he must have been thinking of a seer from last season. He had no mind for litters. The women kept better track of such things anyway. “Is that a threat?” He looked briefly amused and stalked forward, only to sit a short distance from the cub. He looked down his legs at the dark furred cub and thought his fur rather matched his own, though without any of his own extra markings. “You're in no great position for that. What are you doing out here?"

He shook his head with a small, but visible smile. "Course not.. I was just sayin'. Its best to be forewarned right?" He asked. He was after all, rather small. If he was to jump up right now he could easily be taken down. He liked knowing there was a bigger force to back him up.
He watched the male sit across from him, and in a flash something within his head started to hurt. He gasped, clutching his skull. He had not yet learned his skill..and in fact he tended to be quite unable to control it when he needed to.
He saw the black male, angry and hurt.Broken. Though the broken came from his heart, and.. something had happened, he was.. so angry. But then his flash went away and he shook his head, looking back up at the male in real time. His eyes unfocused, he blinked.
"I..I was just visiting.." He said with a hard time making a sentence.

Leyak’s mouth twitched and started to give some retort when the cub suddenly crumpled. For a moment he thought the boy might be faking injury to summon whatever guardian he had and he bristled at the thought of fighting off an adult male. He rose, tense, but the moment passed and the cub recovered… sort of. Leyak didn’t particularly care for the glaze over his eyes. “Are you sick? What was that about?” he demanded, speaking over the cub.
