Poem Critique? o3o

[Fennec Dreamer]

It's a poem I've been working on and I was wondering how it is at its current state.

The Dozen Roses

A dozen roses I gave to you.
Twelve, not one or two
But a bouquet of flowers just from me.

The roses are red and as vibrant as ever,
though one is different from the rest
Its meaning I shall endeavor.

It is just like the other others in that it is red.
Surrounded by the rest, next to your bed.
In a vase with others all beautifully cut,
If I told you it was fake, you may call it a bluff.

It does not mean our love is fake.
Something so perfect cannot be a mistake.
It represents our eternal love
A love no one can imitate.

When I gave you those dozen roses I said that night,
“I will love you until the last rose left has wilted and died.”
I will love you forever no matter the conditions.
Just as this weather proof rose - colored with dye.

A hundred winters quickly went by
and I now lay in the ground next to your side.
A single fake flower sits in between us,
Next to our bed, in a vase by our side.

1. What exactly is your rhyme scheme?
2. Are you doing anything specific with the syllables?
