Need some real life costume advice

I'm thinking that since my son is on a pac-man obsession lately, he could be one of the ghosts.
I'm thinking I would dye a sheet whatever color and cut a hole for his head and arms to come out (he can't wear anything over his face at school when they wear their costumes). Then paint his face and spray/dye his hair that color and have him wear a long sleeve shirt of that color.

But I'm not sure how to convey that he's supposed to be a "pac-man" ghost. I was thinking about painting the eyes on his cheeks, but I don't know how that would look, and I'm not a good artist either. Any other ideas/advice on what I can do?

Hmm, well, the suggestion i can think of is to get him a pair of sunglasses, paint the rims blue, the lenses white, leaving the pupils a blue or black, and having him wear them when not walking? sweatdrop sorry, guess i'm not much help

you could put a hoop in the bottom of the sheet! make it round and such... then just paint the eyes on the sheet itself.

Yeah, I found a pic of someone who made costumes like I'm trying to do and they used felt to make the eyes and put it on the sheet. So I think I'm going to do that
