First contestant: Desert Eagle. 7 round capacity, a large frame that isn't even close to slim, heavy, and is foreign and domestically manufactured.
Drawbacks: If you limp hand the handgun it will jam quite easily. (Edit)
Second contestant:AMT Auto Mag Mark V. Somewhat lighter than the DEagle, blowback operated, made from stainless steel only, compensator ports built within the barrel, it's design is large but slim, and like the others holds 7 rounds.
Drawbacks: Slide has a nasty little tendency to lock back when there's still ammunition in the magazine and is no longer produced. Parts I'm not sure about.
Third contestant:LAR Grizzly Mark V. 7 round capacity, blowback operated, heavy as a DEagle, has a very vicious recoil but hosts the durability of a M1911 since it's design is taken from it. It to is a large pistol like its others.
Drawbacks: Parts for this monster are hard to come by but only for everything besides the return spring, its no longer produced, has a recoil that's more brisk than its Automag and DEagle brethren and the return spring has to be replaced every 1000 rounds fired through it.
If there's anything I missed go ahead and tell me.
I'm only listing semi autos no revolvers. Sorry no Magnum Research BFR.
So which in your opinions would be the handgun with the least amount of problems with or without gunsmithing?
