Gundam: A legendary series of mobile suits made throughout the years to lead the forces of the just. However, it wasn't just the Universal Century time stream that had them. After Colony, Correct Century, Anno Domini, and several other time streams across the meta-verse possessed mobile suits and Gundams. A rift in each time stream caused many mobile suits to dissapear, and the pilots almost never survived, and those that did went comatose. However, with the arrival of the mobile suits came a new threat. One organization located on the earth of the Sentient Age time stream took the various technologies of each time streams mobile suits and combined them, creating an army of powerful mobile suits led by one Gundam, the Gundam Charias. Thinking the "Migrant" suits now useless, they were left to sit in a large abandoned hanger. A few years later, a small group of anti-government civilians broke in, and formulated a plan to take down the mobile suit corps used by the earth-bound government and free the world from its rule.

Here's a link if you don't know any mobile suits: http://www.mahq.net/mecha/gundam/index.htm search through and find one you like or ask me, Silas Parrish or Gundam Arashi for a few examples. or make one of your own!
Rules
1. No god-modding unless necessary
2. If using a custom suit/gundam, make it feasible. Average height is around 16 meters, so no 800-foot beam sabers or swords.
3. No auto hitting if fighting anothers' character(s), let them react.
4. in the off chance that a few kids may be reading, keep cussing to a minimum.
5. NO MOBILE ARMORS!!!! if the suit/gundam turns into one that's fine. but no big zams or nuei ziels. that's just over kill and you'd be a massive target, and very slow...

((Shall we get started?))
Axel watched cautiously as several enemy soldiers walked by. This was a squad that preferred the migrant suits. He could identify one as a Flag, another was either a Zaku or Gouf, he always got the two mixed up. The last was a Daughtress. If he hadn't seen the Gundam Exia, a Daughtress was his next choice, possibly the Hyaku Shiki. From his hiding spot, he threw his GN Daggers at the Zaku/Gouf and Flag, then slashed the Daughtress with his GN Sword. "Too easy. There's no way reinforcements were called." He jetted off back to the Aleks to wait for his next deployment.

Zero sat back in the lounge chair he had salvaged, wondering when the next bidder would call him. It had been a long day of loading ammunition and maintenance, and he was ready to relax. He grunted a couple times as some old springs poked him in the back then settled down comfortably. 'Sometimes this life has its perks..' The phone started ringing so he stuck his hand over the table and put it on speaker. "What's your bid, who are you, and what for?"
"Can't say who it's for but the bids a good 250 grand. Just mop up a rebel base in the Gobi desert."
"Not good enough, I only work for 400 or more." He hung up on the caller, debating the choice to turn down the gig, after all, he hadn't had one in months.

((Durp. XD))

Faina turned the report broadcast over the Aleks' private radio down, absently pressing the mute button shortly after. Lately guerrilla tactics had been working, but for how long? The Resistance had able pilots, most skilled as well, but it was no real match for their enemies. She sighed tiredly, muttering under her breath at the new stream of chatter from another radio across the command center of her ship. What had started this whole fiasco, anyway? As a back up plan, she'd planned to start rationing food out and using the excess money to hire mercenary pilots. It seemed that she would have to enact that plan earlier than she had thought.

Axel walked into his room, and was greeted by a familiar voice "Welcome back sir. Welcome back sir" His haro, dark red and the size of a soccer ball, bounced in delight at seeing him back alive. "Whats new haro?" Axel flopped down on his bed as Haro relayed some news. "Captain Faina has began rationing food, and is looking for mercenary pilots to assist us. Haro! HARO!" Haro wiggled his flaps and bounced a bit. Mercenary pilots, huh? Most of our crew are somewhat inept compared to the government pilots, but why mercenaries? Axel contemplated this update. the food wasn't an issue. He really didn't eat much, and when on extended deployment, he scavenged fruit and hunted local game. He just really didn't trust mercenaries. Their allegiance was to the highest bidder, and had little to no sense of honor. And some were smart-asses. He got up, locked his door and went to sleep.

"We lost our Gouf, Flag and Daughtress WHY?!" Ramsus was not happy with the report he was just given. His one scout unit of three migrant suits was annhialated by an unknown enemy. This makes the third scout unit in a week. Only one pilot survived, and he reported that it was a white mobile suit, similar to my Gundam... He thought slowly on this. His army was greater than any pilots the Resistance had. It had to be a mercenary... but only one was truely neutral, and his suit was dark grey and with a lot of guns. Didn't use swords. Then who is it?

((Baw, sorry for the delay.))

"Have you gotten a decent list yet, Derick?" "It's tough, but I've gotten some in line for you, Captain." "Alright, I'll start trying then." Faina sighed, taking a hastily written on paper from the man in charge of gathering the intelligence in her crew. Not too reliable and usually jumping from one topic to the next in his work, but he was the best she knew of. She scrolled the names quickly and at random, choosing the first that piqued an interest, some one of the name Zero Manaki. As it outgoing call went through multiple layers of security and procedures, the captain leaned forward in her chair, surveying the bridge crew. Was she really going to add mercs to their ranks for the sake of the war? Personal opinions mattered on her ship, any person who had a problem with her plans either went with it and was pleased later or simply left. But what if too many disagreed with her? They only had so much money to hire pilots, a setback. Bah, to hell with it. She frowned as the call went through safely and began ringing, hoping for the mercenary to pick up soon.

Ramsus reviewed some footage of a single white mobile suit, sent in a few days ago, by a recon unit equipped with hyperjammers. The suit was indeed similar to Charias, but slim and wingless. It had strange weapons as well. As predicted the suit fired two blasts close to the suit that sent the footage, which were subsequently followed by explosions. The enemy suit then landed, and walked up to the allied one. He was looking for something. Something very faint, thinking he saw something imprinted on its head just above the green gem. He froze the footage, zoomed in and cleared up the image. What he saw verified his hunch. He saw one word imprinted in the metal: GUNDAM.

Axel woke up from his nap by a knock on his door. Telling the person to enter, he was greeted by a young pilot, who saluted him. "You know i don't do formalities, kid. What do you need?" Axel sat up as the pilot told him he was needed in the repair bay for his Gundam. When he showed up, he immediately spotted the problem, that being that his gundam's V-Fin was slightly cracked. "Too easy. Gimme"

Zero picked up the ringing phone, hoping for a decent bid this time. "How much, who for and where?" He didn't bother with formalities, in his line of work it would only get him killed.

Faina gave a small smile at the bluntness before doing a quick calculation of the ship's money situation in her head. If she spent too much on one merc the man in charge of the accounting would flip. But then, she knew hiring a rogue wasn't cheap either from her government days dealing with them. "600, Resistance, my ship." Then as an after thought, she added, "You in or out?"
PostPosted: Tue Nov 16, 2010 8:29 am
Zero raised his eyebrow in surprise at the amount offered, surprisingly high for the Resistance to have. "Done. Send the co-ordinates for the rendezvous for further negotiation through channel 32. That's all you'll hear from me until we meet." He hung up the phone, and shouted to his crew to get his suit ready, then got up and went to his com link to wait for the transmission.

Faina gave an odd look at the phone's receiver before placing it down, consulting the list in her other hand. Her bridge crew said nothing about the brief, one-ended conversation they'd heard. "Derick?" She called over at the man she'd spoken to before. "Hm?" "Send our current location's coordinates through channel 32 to--" she glanced at the list again. "--Zero Manaki." "Isn't it a bit risky to give him our location, Captain?" "We have more than enough pilots aboard to handle him if he decides this isn't a good deal. And besides, Aleks has firepower." Derick shrugged and went to his second task as Faina put a new number in, listening to the phone's connection tone. For the first one possibly hired, she had to admit it wasn't too bad.

Axel walked onto the bridge right as Fania gave the order to send the ships coordinates. Zero Manaki, huh. Smart-a** as ever, i bet. Hope he helps us more than hurting us "So how many mercs are going to be hired?" Haro bounced behind him, waving his flaps and curious as to whats going on.

"I figured this would come. Someone found a gundam". Ramsus thought about this. He guess the hangar was found by either the resistance or mercs. Or both. "Great. Just perfect"
