Thinking of changing my Fursona, but...

Good day!

Well, I've always been certain as my fursona to be that of a dog-- I'm loyal (perhaps to a fault), extremely group-orientated, always happy to meet someone new and to protect anyone I could.

However, being in a gaming guild as well, I have stumbled upon the Tauren of World of Warcraft. The Tauren are hospitable, caring, loyal and strong characters of the bovine nature- they've horns, tails, and hooves.

Now, the dilemma?

I feel very strongly about wishing to become a bovine fursona since it's more of my body type (and henceforth easier to relate to and so on sweatdrop )
Yet still, I've a dog's heart and I love being a playful mutt 4laugh

Any thoughts on the matter?

Well, you could combine the two and become a dog cow, or a dow. Then you can change your character's name and become Dow Jones, stock broker extraordinaire!

You could also become a Cog and then totally be cool with all the steampunkers out there.

I have nothing constructive to contribute other than try having two personas.

I understand the concept, but how could I be a hybrid? I mean....a bovine and a dog.... a dog with hooves and horns? A cow with fangs and a bushy tail? Gah, I cannot contemplate such..

No reason you couldn't have the frame and horns of a bovine/tauren with the ears and tail of a canine.. Wouldn't be too hard to pull it off.

It's perfectly fine to have a bovine Fursona with the personality of a canine.

I think cross species are fun, too. :3 Because I'm a Capricorn, I have a Cat fursona (a character I don't really use as an alter ego as much as I used to) with goat horns that sometimes bleats uncontrollably during normal conversation.

The cowgirl idea is cute, but Tauren aren't really like cowboys, they're more like Native American shamans in culture and personality. 3nodding

And on a dirty note: Jeremy Bernall has a canine character that's a cowgirl. >_> I think her name is Sasha?

I've actually seen quite a few dogs with horns and thin tails, so I'm sure being a dog with cow ears, horn, and tail would be no problem. biggrin
