Peacepipe walks in to the Modmas event expecting to give, and receive some nice festive gifts. To his surprise he found that the whole thing was being ruined by grunnies. "This will not stand," He shouted. He immediately regretted his boldness as he attracted the full attention of all nearby party poopers, Which strangely included one gaian. As he was swarmed over by the grunny hoard he was able to knock out the gaian, but completely missed out on harming the grunnies.

Peacepipe Scrambled to find something he could strike back with. The only luck he had was grabbing on to what felt like a cardboard ball with a line. He shook off what grunnies he could, and jumped back to take a look at his find. "Ha, this might do something," He said with excitement as he looked down in his hand to find an oversized cherry bomb. He pulled out his lighter, and lit the fuse. "I swear gaians can get a hold of anything," he mused as he lobbed it in to the grunny mass. Boom! Grunnies flew everywhere. Finally, the fight to save Modmas was making progress.

The grunnies recovered quickly from the explosive assault. "Oh, crap!" he yelled as he turned, and ran. He threw other gaians behind him in an attempt to distract them. He even overturned a table of food hoping they were just hungry. He eventually found the door to the kitchen. He entered, and shut the door behind him. Bracing the door with all his might Peacepipe had the chance to take a look around the room he was in. Apparently the grunnies were hungry. They were tearing the kitchen apart, and eating everything.

Peacepipe realized he had the upper hand here. They hadn't noticed him, because they were too busy stuffing their faces. He sneakily crept over to the ovens, and snatched up a few of the grunnies, and threw them quickly inside. He followed that up with turning the oven to it's highest setting. "Ha! Baked grunnie tonight," he gloated. Peacepipe realized at this point he had spoken once again when it would have been wise to stay silent. He may have been able to sneak up on more grunnies. Such as it was he now had a kitchen full of angry, and hungry grunnies staring at him... hungrily.

Peacepipe had an idea. He was certain he had seen something like this in a movie once, but it was worth a try. As he was had that thought the door to the kitchen from the main area busted open. Grunnies poured through the door with a vengeance. He stomped on the gas line to the stove, lit his zippo on the way to the dining room, and closed the door behind him. Diving for cover, the room behind him exploded. Apparently the people who had managed to defend themselves had fallen back to this area. He was tossed a pistol, and told to get behind one of the tables. "We're expecting them to make one more push," he heard from someone in the room. So he readied himself for one last attack.

When the grunnies busted down the doors they rushed in with a speed, and determination that surprised everyone. "How could there be this many left," one man cried. The enemy was beyond the barriers, and on top of them before anyone fired a shot. Peacepipe ran from the room turning to fire shots when he could, but between his rush, and the pain from his injuries he didn't manage to hit anything. He found himself back inside the main room with fewer grunnies, but he wasn't sure what he could do for the poor souls left attempting to defend themselves. For now he just fought off what he could.

At that point Peacepipe spotted just what he needed. Lying not too far outside of the dining room was the body of a security guard, but more importantly he had a flash bang. The bang off of that thing would disorient any of the people in there, but it would be far worse on the grunnies. He ran up to the guard, and stole the flash bang. He took the SMG while he was at it. He put the pistol away for later. He primed the grenade, and threw it. The effect was just what he had hoped. He hadn't even considered beforehand that he would get in some free shots, but he took his chance now. He took down at least 10 before everyone else recovered, and then they joined in too. Now just to finish off what was left.

The clearing out of the rest of the grunnies went magnificently. It wasn't accomplished with as much style as a SWAT team could, but it was close. Everyone gathered up resources, and prepared themselves for the final assault quickly. We didn't want to give them too much time to regroup. Everyone went room by room making sure that the place was clear. The celebration afterward was short, not due to any lack of fervor, it was merely cut off by another threat. Labtechs started swarming the place. Not nearly so many as the grunnies, but very likely more dangerous individually. They wore high tech armor, and carried strange weapons. It looked like some of them carried net casters, and others tranquilizer rifles. They had to be here to gather up the grunnies.

These labtechs were no joke, Here he thought he was dealing with a bunch of nerds with weapons, but these guys knew what they were doing. He was quickly forced to retreat. He was going to have to do this quietly, and one at a time. He needed to take one of them out, and get a hold of that weaponry that they had. It was just what he needed. Those things made much less noise than what he had. First he had to hide. So that's what he did.

Peacepipe had a great plan... The problem is that it was failing. The labtechs were to perceptive for him to easily sneak around, and the armor they were wearing was making his guns much less effective. It was time to modify the plan, but to what...

The solution to his problems was not coming to him. Not in the time he had anyway. His attempts to slink away were becoming worse, and worse. He obviously wasn't getting around making sneak attacks without getting noticed. The labtechs were communicating his last known positions. They were figuring out what he was doing with little issue. It was no time before they had him cornered. The room Peacepipe was in had two doors. He heard them outside at both doors. They were coordinating a tactical entry, and he knew it. His only hope was to give up. "Okay, I give up," He yelled through the door. "All right Come out with your hands up, and we'll take you alive," was the response from the other side. So he did. As he walked out the door he saw three men. Well technically two men, and a woman, but that didn't seem relevant. He was certain by this point they had captured everyone else. So he estimated that there were three, maybe four at most at the other door. That would be all of them. Peacepipe was escorted to a black van. The Side door was opened, and they threw him inside.

The van he was thrown in had cages lining the walls. That pretty much confirmed his initial thoughts on why they were here. These guys were good at coordinating, and they knew what they were doing with their weapons. Probably experience from wrangling stray grunnies. What they weren't good at was securing a prisoner. He wasn't bound, or neutralized in any way. That gave him an idea, and so did the spare tranq rifle in the back of the van. When the labtechs got in the van they took off their helmets. Not having their helmets on gave Peacepipe the opportunity he needed to shoot them both in the neck. He quickly drug them in to the back, and put on the labtech armor. In one of their pockets Peacepipe found an ID card that would also come in handy. So he pocketed it.
