"was that one?" jyrolyn asked eagerly. "NO!" prosper replied for what must have been the billionth frik'n time. "I just snapped a twig." he added, rolling his eyes.
Jyrolyn and prosper had been wandering for about an hour on the lonely, snow covered streets on the outskirts of barton town, searching for gambino's minions.
"wer'e too late." said jyrolyn, dropping his daggers into the thick, white snow. "everyone's already killed them all."
as though to answer these words of despair, jyrolyn heard a soft *THUD* behind him.
"IS THAT ONE!?!?" jyrolyn asked, ripping his daggers from the ground, more excited then ever.
"yes!" screamed prosper.
"okay!" jyrolyn said as he flipped around and feasted his eyes on...
"an adorable green bunny?" prosper asked, turning to jyrolyn.
"what did you expect?" he asked, not taking his gaze off the creature.
"I don't know." prosper said, kicking the snow. "something... threatening?" "oh, theyr'e out there, but you can't fight them yet. no, their are ALWAYS preliminaries." jyrolyn looked briefly at prosper. "i'll save my strength.", and a cold glare out across the brightly lit buildings was prosper's only response.
jyrolyn thrust forth into battle.

Battle one: the blood soaked snow.

jyrolyn lunged forth, not worrying about defense, with both blades outstreched.
ac: 11
dmg: 12
attack succesful.
jyrolyn hit the grunnie dead on!... but with only one dagger, for the creature jumped unexpectedly to the left at the last second. jyrolyn stumbled and fell, but knew he had gotten a good hit in.
prosper giggled.
