Casey stepped out of her castle and looked around as the cold air heightened her senses.
A deep breath in brought the swirling aroma of wet grunny fur into her lungs.
She quickly pulled out her ice dice and scanned the horizon with slanted eyes searching for her hidden opponent.
A flash of green against the snow told her what to do next.
She closed her eyes and rolled with purpose.

She heaved a sigh as her attack barely clipped her enemies evil tail. She felt desperate as the cold bit into her bones.
The grunnies beady eyes glared up at her from behind a rock.
As it bared its yellow teeth, she got ready to attack again.
She knew she had to make it count. It might be her last chance for the day...

Exhausted, and disappointed Casey slumped to the ground.
The grunny, sensing an opportunity, fled into the forest.
Casey watched it run off, and decided to pursue her enemy in the morning.
She turned back to her castle and sleepily floated home to her bed, and succumbed to dreams of massacring grunnies, and enemies yet to come.
