o1. DO NOT ENTER IF YOU DO NOT PLAN ON RPING. It kinda negates the purpose of a metaplot contest.
o2. I don't care how many SoA you have. Some events here are open to all.
o3. Do not pout, whine, cry, or otherwise try to guilt-trip or passive-aggressive your way into winning. We will not take pity. Nor will any judges we get to help or anyone else in the thread.
o4. These SoA are to STAY in the Simbafutaji! They were obtained for the purpose of plotness and expanding the pride!
o5. NO. MULES. >[ One entry PER PERSON.
o6. Follow all SoA rules. They are your friend.

The Rundown
The rise of Kifuko Ekundayo has been met with some...ill luck. A bad vision and more-than-light rain, Seekers yet to return, and other bits of bad luck have been happening. It has the pride somewhat divided. Some stand by the fact that these happenings have nothing to do with Ekundayo. Others, however, whisper that whatever gods might be watching over the pride have decided Ekundayo is an unfit leader. And Ekun, for her part, is struggling with the first major obstacle in her life. Never has she had to deal with something like this!
Meanwhile, a rag-tag group of creatures is making their way north, bringing with them tidings of a storm system they can barely manage to keep ahead of. Will they make it to the Simbafutaji in time? Or will the pride be washed away without warning?

The Jaded Sister
Not up for contest, this is Aanga, played by Das Tor. The 'older' of the two sisters in the group, Aanga is no stranger to the perils of life. Since she and The Sweet Sister's parents weren't exactly attentive, Aanga's been looking out for the both of them, trying her best to make sure her prettier sister wasn't affected too much by the harsher aspects of life. For her sister's sake, Aanga has killed, lied, stolen, and blackmailed. When they were barely adults, they left their parents and Aanga found them a pride by the sea.
Aanga was just getting used to being able to live for herself a little when the storms came. She and Aanga barely made it out alive. It was The Sweet Sister's idea to run ahead of the storms and warn others along the coastline. Aanga decided to go with it, and since then, they've ended up with a few extra members to their group.

The Sweet Sister
RP Contest
You were second born in your litter, Aanga being the first. Your parents were never really attentive, so you've always viewed Aanga as both sister and mother, because she did so much to take care of you. Some of those things, she refuses to talk about, saying a sweet girl like you doesn't need to worry about such things. You stopped asking after a while. When the two of you were barely adults, you left your parents and Aanga found the two of you a pride by the sea. You always did like the water.
You were just getting properly settled, and Aanga was just starting to relax, when the storms came. You and Aanga barely made it out alive. Being the concerned creature you are, it was your idea to run ahead of the storms and warn others along the coastline. Aanga decided to go with it, and since then, you've ended up with a few extra members in your group.
Requirements
o1. Open to ALL!
o2. Name must be in Swahili. And nothing too long...the girls' parents weren't good parents at all.
o3. Must be able to handle at least 1 RP a week for the time period between January 21st and February 21st. This can be done via AIM or in the guild.
o4. The Sweet Sister is exactly that; sweet, naive, and shielded from the darker side of life. Beyond that, she's fair game personality-wise.
Prompt
Your sister has always, always been there for you. You've never had to worry about food, or shelter, or danger. And now, you've narrowly escaped death and have found yourself, through your own choice, running to save the lives of others. For the first time in your life, your pawpads are sore, your belly rumbles, and you don't know if you have the time to find proper shelter for a good night's sleep. What is your reaction?

The 'Mama'
Concept Contest
One of the first to join Aanga and The Sweet Sister in their journey, your home was situated less than a day north of the pride the two sisters had been in. You came from an old family that's lived by the sea for generations, and you'd always had The Loyalist by your side as a companion you could always count on, just as her family had always been so for yours. When the girls came charging in to warn you of the danger, your family and The Loyalist's fled inland...and you two joined the sisters in their mad dash. SOMEONE needed to look after the two!
Requirements
o1. Open to SoA newbies ONLY! (5 or fewer SoA = newbie. Familiars do not count against this.)
o2. Must be slightly motherly. Other than that, her personality AND background beyond what's up there are fair game! Including the fact she could have left and wandered for a time.
o3. Must be able to handle at least 3 RPs during the time period between January 21st and February 21st. These can be done via AIM or in the guild.

The Bros
Partner RP/Concept Contest
These two joined the group after The 'Mama', and oddly enough, weren't among the warned. They just saw a chance for adventure! Doing something insanely EPIC. Question is...why were they out on their own in the FIRST place? Simple...the black Bro got kicked out of his pride because he wouldn't leave his rogue-born teal Bro for a chick the pride wanted him to marry. Doesn't ANYONE understand Bros before Hoes?
Requirements
o1. These two are open to Simbafutaji newbies ONLY. If you already have a Simbafutaji member (familiars don't count), you cannot enter for them.
o2. MUST be done with a partner!
o3. These two are best buddies, Bros to the end! The teal boy is a rogue-born, the black one is originally from a pride. Beyond that, all is fair game. Including the circumstances of their births/etc.
o4. Must be able to handle at least 2 RPs during the time period between January 21st and February 21st. These can be done via AIM or in the guild.
