Anyone else have it and care to provide their opinions?

I guess its alright.
The touch screen didn't do anything it does outside of regular RPG games. It would have been nice to see it implemented in summoning or something. I was also disappointed with the lack of the world to explore. By the time you get the boat, more than half of the world has been explored, and you can't even visit another continent! Alhafra was my favorite town and had great music in GS2, but it can't be visited in GSDD. Disappointing.

The story is good, but a little short compared to the other games.

Another thing that is lacking is endgame. Some RPG's give their players a boss to fight after the final boss, or a way to explore even more of the world afterwards. Not GS.

All things considered, I give it 4/5

So far, I've found it to be quite satisfactory, save for the long and plot-thick conversations that can't be skipped...

Actually, the Crossbone Isle becomes accessible after you beat the game, which lets you fight Dullahan, which is generally way harder than every other boss in the Golden Sun series.

I thought the game was pretty good, on par with the other two. The only thing I actually disliked is that unlike the others, this one has the point of no return, where once you get the boat, if you missed pretty much anything, you get screwed over, forcing you to restart.

There're there point of no returns, the last one being the boat.

I missed a lot of stuff. I actually went out and bought the official strategy guide just to make sure I can get everything this time through.

3/5, great for fans of the series but who am I kidding, it's not as groundbreaking as the first two were.

Got the game myself and just starting in on it, but I can agree it is a little text-heavy... but it looks good so far. I'll have to amend my opinion once I've gotten a little farther though.

So easy to win if you just spam Eclipse though...

Summon spamming was the way to go in the first two GS games.

But it wouldn't get you very far if you wanted to get a long streak in the battle arena. My highest streak was 64 (I lost on purpose just so it didn't end up with an awkward number)...
