As well as give out a few tickets to BB, here are a few things that I have picked up through out the meet. Looks like we're getting into some exciting stuff!

[ JK ]: you know, like how system can talk to everyone on the server
[ JK ]: i don't think ppl would abuse it if it costs money

[ JK ]: unfortunately, the dev who was working on the fix for clan chat left
[ JK ]: so it'll be upto swarf to fix it
[ JK ]: and i'm not sure when he can get to it
[ JK ]: and in regards to vivox, we're going to remove it
[ JK ]: we don't have the resources to maintain it. and the vivox guys aren't helping us
[ JK ]: lix, we are saving money since we don't need to have anyone maintaining it
[ JK ]: remember, we only have 1 programmer now. there's only so much he can handle

[ JK ]: so, we can focus 100% of our time on the game

[ JK ]: on a serious note, we could use some help.. definitely
[ JK ]: but zomg is a complex beast..

In my opinion a Global Shout already exists. It's called the Forums. zOMG! does not need a power-up for this type of functionality.

So... where's Undermountain supposed to be? I haven't seen anything about that other than, "Hey look! New area! Once we get the dev time for it, anyway..."

It looks like it's going to be accessed through Dead Man's Pass.

I wouldn't say useless. Some users don't use the forums and don't read them. Might be a good way to advertise some of the issues and threads related to supporting zOMG.

Personally, it's not a feature I'm horribly excited about.

So they're getting rid of Vivox... sucks for those that paid GC for the different voice mods. @_@

I doubt much people would use global shout other than to spam. Which [ JK ] said he planned to prevent by making it cost money.
In which case I doubt it'd be very handy.

Unless you know, [ JK ] uses it so more people can get to the right layer for meets. 3nodding

I feel like the current shout gets abused.
The thought of a global shout is scary unless controls were put in place. If users had to pay gold or even GC to use it that would likely help a lot. In other words, make it like sending out an announcement from a guild - you can do it but it costs. Maybe the same once-per-day limit would be good as well.
