This is a chance to win one of seven characters that will be living within the Mava'Bunda, or Graveyard Pack.
If you would like a little information on them, their information thread is located here, including possible ranks. At the moment, Bone Reader is restricted. Masuko will only let those that she trusts gain that position, but she's not old enough to officially be Alpha.
You may enter for any of them, but you may only win one. Fair warning that my prompts suck. No length limit, either minimum or maximum. If you have any questions, please post them here. These characters may not leave the pack. The slaves may have a chance to, however, if they come up with a desirable plot in the future. You may choose your rank, except for a head position. Those are in a bit of limbo at the moment.
Please note that all these character end up joining the Mava'Bunda around the same time ICly, though you may work out any sort of extra details with the other winners.
Ends: January 29th at 7pm PST / 10pm EST

I'm excited! I thought this pack wasn't really alive anymore, and I'm glad it is. Lion/hyena strife is go.

Female 1 Name: Payaso Desired Rank: Bone Collector Personality: vengeful, impressionable, suspicious, entertaining hoarder Prompt Reply: Payaso held her prize tightly in her jaws, and looked around to make sure the others hadn't seen it. They were behind her, so she didn't think they had . . . but still, one couldn't be too careful. She wasn't fully sure what kind of bone she had here. Yes, it was a leg bone, but from what? It wasn't from an elephant or a giraffe, cause it wasn't big enough, and it wasn't from a meerkat or a hare cause it was too big. Still, there were many things it could be from. Antelope, eland, zebra, wildebeest, cheetah, dog, lion. Lion? It probably was a lion's bone. Yes. The other's were always going on about how lions kept hyena's down, and if it was some other kind of bone it already would have been chewed to bits for the marrow. This bone was different. Definitely too thick for a preybeast's bone. She would have to think about what to do with it. Creeping stealthily, at least in her own mind, Payaso took the bone into the shadows at the bottom of some rocks where she could examine it, and became steadily more convinced it was a lion's leg bone. It had to be. One didn't just find leg bones laying around, unless they were for something. Payaso polished it up the best she could against her fur. There were teeth marks in it. They looked like hyena teeth marks. She put her own jaw over them and looked downwards, cross eyed, to compare. It was hard to tell at first, but she became increasingly more convinced. Definitely hyena teeth marks. This lion had obviously fallen to a clever group of hyenas, which made this lion bone important. It was a sign - a sign of the genius and prowess of hyenas, that this lion had fallen to them. This bone was psychologically important to any hyena that had ever been called a dirty scavenger or a crazy hermaphrodite or made to feel bad by a lion. Since the bone was psychologically important to hyena kind, it needed to be preserved. Payaso knew that it was up to her to preserve this bone until the time came to reveal it.
She crept out of the shadows to check for the others. Still no where to be seen. Good. She would have time to hide it before they came upon her, and that way the bone would be safe. And the best place to hide a lion's bone that you didn't want lions finding would be in the ground. Felines were always up in trees, but they never dug. This way even if she couldn't get it, no feline would find it and destroy the hyena's symbolic dead lion bone. Payaso found a spot she thought she would remember, and dug fast and deep, and deposited her special lion bone. One day she would return and recover the bone and show her fellow hyenas that they were strong!
((Some time later, a wild dog pup would dig up the gnawed on bone of a wildebeest and take it back to his brothers to play tug with, not knowing of its psychological significance to oppressed hyenas everywhere. When Payaso remembers she had an important bone, and goes looking for it, she becomes convinced that the lions were on to her, and resolves to find better hiding places in the future.))

Slave 2 Name: Jela Personality: Cunning, lazy, devious and just a little bratty. Prompt Reply: Jela ducked down close to the ground, hiding inside the ribcage of an immense, long-dead creature. Her watcher was nearby, doubtless trying to sniff her out, but she had made sure that her scent-trail looped around and around in so many circles that no-one would ever be able to find her by scent-tracking alone. As for visually spotting her? Good luck! The little wild dog pup was perfectly camouflaged among the bones and the dust of her home, and she knew it. She couldn't remember when she had first discovered how hard it was for her owners to locate her, because as far as she knew slipping away and stealing a nap under the hyena's noses was something she had just always been able to do!
One day, she knew, she'd try to get away from here - she didn't want to stay a slave forever. But, y'know, as long as she was one... this whole blending-in thing came in handy. Jela yawned silently and lay her head down, curling up into a ball to catch some extra sleep, confident that she had time for a nap before her hyena masters could pinpoint her location.
