I've decided that until I find another job, which I should probably do soon, I should spend my "working day" on finishing and polishing the novels I have sitting around incomplete. So I made a thread with which to motivate myself.

Anyone else working on a project (and procrastinating) at the moment?

Oh yes. I have a short story that needs work and two novels that I need to just sit down and write. The one novel I have an outline for and so many kick a** ideas for it. I was inspired to write this novel from a dream I had. The characters for the novel are so vivid in my mind. I wish I would just sit down and at least start the damn thing! I have two poems that need work too sweatdrop

Pft, of course I'm procrastinating. It's what I do best. I need to stop though because the novel I'm working on is so close to being finished. I just need to do it, get it typed up and go back through for some refining.

Character development needs a kick in the butt, the fluidity needs smoothed out, and there are some plot developments that need tied in firmly and explained thoroughly. Much work to be done.

I'm procrastinating on a number of projects at the moment. Both original and fan-works. But I've learned over the years that no amount of external motivation will help me.

Yeah, I'm having that problem too. I've got too many good ideas and not enough motivation to just put them down in words. gonk

NaNoWriMo always helps me get my ideas down. At the moment I'm editing a draft in the hopes that when I'm at the end of Editing Time, I'll be able to actually write an end that doesn't SUCK.
