( Stole Feylin's Log set ups XD ilu? ) Chi She knew she should have told them a little before her stomach started to show. It damn well ruined her body but she was fine with that. Her eyes were the deepest green they have been. Though she hurt- she was happy. It was like a weight had been lifted and she didn't mind showing it off. But she was advised to be very careful and wait on ledge- and that was about it. The ledge right in front of her den. That was it. She WAS there- until she made her way to her ..girls' den.
Vailea, Tsura.. they were her world. Even more than any had been. SHe loved them so much- defensive of them and crippling almost. Like always.. she slithered her way there and sat at the mouth of the den.. She sat- which was rare of her.. just looking inside. Her ears back.. and a smile upon her face.. her face was bright and care filled... she wanted to tell them first. Excitement was about to make her explode.. "Vailea, Tsura~" SHe called out. Her tail padding with slight thumps. Schick
Vailea's ears perked up as she heard her mother's voice. The lithe hybrid had been taking a nap in the den she shared with her sister, Tsura. With a well needed stretch and a soft yawn, Vailea padded over to the entrance where Momma Nyoka was. She couldn't help but notice that her Mum was getting abit big in the tummy area, and although she knew how things worked..Vailea still prefered not to know the answer. Her steps were still a tad sleepy as she nuzzled Nyoka, but the hybrid would wake up sooner or later. Besides, she didn't mind that it was he Mom that was waking her up.

When she saw Vailea, her heart almost jumped but again- she was nulled of that expression. She nuzzled back and gave her chin rub an extra fluffy feeling. "Vailea?" She questioned. "Still asleep dear- its almost time for feeding." She whispered.. and coiled her tail around the body of her daughter..

Vailea sighed softly, " Almost time to eat? "
The hybrid stretched again where she stood, waking up her muscles already starting to feel warm. Though not the warmth of the sun, but the warm feeling she felt when near her Mother. That alone, was something that she treasured. She was big on giving nuzzles to Nyoka, to let her know that she enjoyed being around her, and treasured her presence.

"Almost..." She whispered.. "Can you come with me for a moment? Til they drag in the food though." She chuckled with a happy smile. Taking a few lengthy walks in to the den. Smelling for Tsura but she didn't seem to be here. "And Tsura? Had she gone already?" Taking the steps in, they had no use for a nanny now but every now and again she would come around. "Yea know.. have you thought of what you will be doing.. not only sitting here and collecting dust?" She softly laughed.. "I want my daughter to make me proud."

" Oh, Tsura is out and about.. " Even while she slept, Vailea knew when her sister came and went. The hybrid looked down at her feet and twiddled her toes in the dirt upon hearing Nyoka mention making her proud. Aside from when she would merely wander around the Pride and observe things, Vailea didn't really know what to do. Of course she wanted to make her Mother proud of her, but.. it was tough thing to choose any sort of ' profession ' to persue. The last things Vailea wanted was to choose something and then end up backing out of it in the end. That alone would not only be embarressing but also abit shameful.
" I know, but.. I honestly do not know what to do.. "

When she looked to the side at her daughter, as she was leading them in to the private spring they too, the lead them in to the bottom of the pride... Walking and crouching down and twining down in to the tunnel. "Well I like to try and picture you... as a nanny. But I won't pick for you. You have to make that choice on your own. Your adorable and fun loving... I don't want to rupture that about you. Don't ever be something you aren't. Remember that." She looked back and then padded down in a spiral in to the tunnels and once she they reached the spring. She circled the tiny spring. It was enough for probably three but no one more. Slinking down on the boarder of the small rock.. Eyes soft..

She followed her Mother into the tunnels that led to a nice little spring that they frequented. It was always cool to know that there was a private spot for her, Mum and Tsura to drink from. The water was different in this spot, it was tastier and more refreshing.
" I know, Mom. There aren't many ranks here that I really fit into though. ..Except for being a Nanny, I suppose. "
There was nothing wrong with that rank, since the hybrid did enjoy being around cubs. They were tiny and cute, and it was fun teaching them things. It was always amusing to see the look o their faces when they find out something that they previously didn't think was possible.

She sat down and watched the water.. there was water being constantly put in and put out from the bottom. So their really was always fresh water. She leaned down and looked in to the water. What had she done to herself? Her face looked different.. and her body seemed all to well different. "Well a Nanny can still be royal.. maybe.. you can be..a nanny for your siblings." She said this in a very soft and non chalant way. As to not just GIVE it away.

Vailea leaned down to get a drink faintly asorbing the words her Mother had softly and nonchalantly spoken. " Yeah, I suppose so.. " The mostly earthen coloured hybrid took a few drinks from the spring, almost doing a spit take, but managing to swallow the cool water. " .. S-Siblings? But..- wait.. " Vailea was slightly confused about getting the new, perhaps merely in the nonchalant way it was done. She looked at her Mother expetantly, slightly confused but still excited. " ..New siblings..? "

Nyoka's face didn't turn or falter when she told her about it. She just dipped her head for a drink.. Then rose her head, and turned.. with a very very graceful way.. and eyes went soft as she nodded. "Yes. I'm expecting." Her words were warm and motherly yet in some way still business like. "But you don't have to be their nanny, I just don't want you to grow bored in this den of yours.. and its a little stuffy- I know if you stay in one small den." She laughed..

Siblings? Really? Vailea couldn't believe it. Little siblings to teach and protect? If the hybrid was any more happy, her spots might've exploded like fireworks. " Little siblings? That's.. wow. " Vailea couldn't be retain the happiness from the news. Little siblings. She was gonna be an older sister. Her and Tsura. She didn't know how Tsura might take the news, but ..what could be better than being an older sister? " I'd be more than happy to help watch over them. They're my little siblings. "

"It will be a task if their anything like their older sisters hm?" Nyoka tried to joke and nuzzled against her daughter with a soft grooming. Rubbing her head against her daughter. "It will be a delight to have around hm? I'd need a lot of help caring for them.." Them meaning she knew there were a hand full in there from how they moved and rumbled around in her tummy. It was a different brithing expirence than her past- the one she tried to forget. This one she tried to take extra care over.
"Thats why I was wondering if you thought of a rank.. but I'd never just throw the responsiblity at you unwilling my Vailea... I care to deeply for you to ruin such a fine thing." Giving her a good look in the eyes.. taking her in. What would THEY look like. Would they be more like Nanashi? Or her? Or her sisters. "I don't even know what Nanashi will say about them yet." A soft laugh as she looked in to the water. THAT was what REALLY worried her. How Nanashi will take it and even more importantly, how Dysi would take the news.

Vailea nuzzled her Mother back, " Of course it'll be nice to have them around. Family is family. " A wide, warm smile couldn't help but appear on her maw, stretching from ear to ear. " I understand, Mom. I have thought about it, I just don't want to end up switching ranks and make you ashamed of me. " Although, hearing how much her Mother cared for the hybrid, was very relieving. Perhaps if there was enough love and understanding, you could never truly disappoint your parents.
" But, I do like cubs. And taking care of my own little siblings would be fun, and provide experiance too. I would hope that I could help instill good values in them. " Upon hearing Nanashi's name, Vailea could feel a slight cold in her gut. She had an inkling that the oncoming litter was sired by him. She could only hope that they didn't completely turn out with his bias.

"I don't think I could be ashamed of my daughter that has never stirred me wrong. I have faith you may find a place that will be right for you." Nodding as she looked down and directly look at her daughter. Just the spring before her as she dipped inside.. Rarely you would see the blue cheetah dip herself but it was enough to lay in for a short time.
Big enough for the two hybrids alone. Laying her body down. She often spoke of how much she hated water but it was soothing for being such a small spring with a very little running water to it. "I am sure you will." Looking up at her with a softness. Sickly to be honest. "I don't think- well.. its just that. You know your father would be saddened by the cubs. Its a hard situation and I'm not sure if my body and heart are ready for such a sadness... since your father last spoke with me." Her ears plainfully down.
She was upset by that too.. but little could she do in this state. "I would be happy if you were along side them. Helping them to be modeled in to the good heirs they may be." Coiling in almost a ball in the mid leg high water. "If you don't like a rank, why don't you just check.. and watch them and see which you like before deciding. Appertaince? I'd hate again to tie you down if you find something more better than just caring for cubs." Though it was VERY important and they were in need of nannies. But Vailea was different.. and so she cared for her extremely and her sister Tsura. They both have found their ways in Nyoka's heart. It had been a shame that Bian had not followed in their footsteps and shamed her.

" I know, Mom. " Vailea's ears flicked back momentarily, at the thought of her Father learning the news. For a long time, and even now, her family only consisted of her, Tsura, Momma Nyoka, and Dysi. Nanashi was somewhat included, but.. more like in the thought of a anquitancein the cave. She wasn't stupid though. Vailea could see that her Mom did like the dark cheetah, even if he didn't like her because of who her own Father was.
" I'm sure things will work out in some way though. " Exactly how things would work out, was an entirely different can of worms. She was wasn't a Seer, so there was no way that the hybrid could know for sure. Observing interactions, and using logical thinking didn't translate well when it came to matters of the heart. That much she could tell. ..Even if Vailea herself, hadn't fallen into that department. Yet. She hoped that someday that she might though, and..that it would last.
" ...Apprenticing? Hm.. I suppose that could work. "

"Haha. I wished upon that years ago my darling." Shaking her head then dipping her head in to the water. Shaking it off before walking back out and dragging water from her body on to the rock and started to groom before she made it outside. She wasn't to AT LEAST look presentable in front of the pride while she was .. well expecting and no one else knew. Not even her mate which could be questionable. As she groom she commented. "I wish one day my sweet daughter would bring cubs in for me to play with." Joking of course then lifting her head to her daughter.
"When shall I be expecting them? Have you an interest in anyone as of yet?" A soft chuckle. She knew others have been eyeing Tsura, but she was unsure of Vailea.. if she had any eyes for anyone neither.

" It's never too late for things to work out. " Or.. atleast she supposed. Another analytical thought which the hybrid thought might be more applicable. ' Might be ' being the keywords in that sentence though.
Vailea was thankful for the rosy colouring on her face, which seemed more obvious with her face becoming abit warm. She looked at herself in the water, taking a good look at her reflection. She didn't know how to view herself, in all honesty. Out of her and Tsura, the latter was definately the more attractive one. ...Evident enough by how the boys looked at her. Perhaps though, it was also because her sister was more outgoing in the fact that she was confident and.. more secure in her fur.
Vailea fidgeted abit. " I ..um.. "

Her head went up and she tilted her head in almost amazement. "What." She had gotten more different sounding than the soft mother. Caught by the surprise that one of her OWN GIRLS did not look nor catch an eye. "Vailea.. Are you telling me the truth." She got slightly serious.. and searched her eyes for the answer before rubbing her face slight against the girl's cheek. "My dear, I am sorry to then have brought it up~ but you will have your own family one day. Maybe try opening your eyes just slightly.. I'd be happy to see you along side another and living together happily within our home." Bringing her paw to caress the girl's cheek. "My dear, you don't have to be shy.. be proud of the fur on your back.. be proud that you are royal and not many have that privilage." Trying to encourage and cheer her up.

Vailea smiled softly, " It's alright, Mom. You don't have to apologize. " Which was true, she didn't have to, and yet she was. " It'll happen sometime. .. I know it will. " And that'll be a good time. A loving mate, and her own cubs playing around, probably getting into trouble. Vailea sighed softly, thinking about it. Whenever that does occur, it will be a lovely time. Hopefully her cubs will make Nyoka proud too. She wasn't too concerned about whether Nanashi liked them, because he could lick her brown furry butt. " I am proud of my fur, and of my status. I'm especially proud to have such a wonderful Mother. "

She took a few steps closer and softly purred in to her cheek and licked her softly. In a grooming way. "Well.. There will be times we visit other prides- and soon there will be merchants heading out to find prides.. maybe during one of their travels they might snag good one for you. Or. You- wait- That would be a perfect rank for you my dear! A merchant.. ! You can travel.. but you must promise.. to always return." Her eyes went soft and as soon as she said it.
She felt saddened and felt like her heart almost broke. Basically telling her that she could leave.. like dysi did. The thought horrified her for a moment but she hid it well as she closed her eyes and rubbed her cheek along her daughter's.

Vailea absorbed the words her Mother said, silently observing her parent. The hybrid purred softly and nuzzled back. To be a merchant would certainly be any interesting rank. To come and go freely, forging a trust between prides via crafts. She could see how others live in different places, see some boys, maybe come across Dad, bring back things for the family, and... see boys. Vailea wouldn't admit it out loud, but it might be nice to see boys in other lands too. Maybe.. the one for her was out there somewhere.

Rubbing and rubbing her head with some grooming every now and again. "Well its just that I wouldn't just want you leaving. Maybe I should come with you on your first one.. or." Worrying slightly..
"I should tell Nanashi now." Lifting herself up and moving slightly a few feet. Lifting her head with a softness about her. "At least wait til the cubs can go out of the den.. before leaving? If you do." She said which made her hturn her head. Not even shaking the water away from her and letting it drag from her tail.
