I was wondering if you guys would be willing to give me some feedback on some of my drawings. They can be found here.
And if you guys could possibly give me some pricing information too. I want to try to sell some avatar art around Gaia once I finish a request I have a get at least one other male up as a sample.

I like your pose-work and chibis the most.

Your dynamic poses will get you some pretty good work, even without colour.

When I looked at your gallery, I tried to figure out what one things would be to help you improve faster. The one spot I noticed was faces. They're fine on your chibis and mostly fine on your straight on drawings. But your quarter view faces are a little off. The nose should be further towards the side of the face and less centered. At which point the eye at the edge of the face should be closer to the nose than the other eye. Practice makes perfect and studying people's faces around you will help you see where it's all supposed to go. If anything, you can study your own face in a mirror at different angles.

The only thing I can say to quickly improve is to just have darker lines/brighter paper. But most of that has to do with your scanner. There are many free programs that you can use to help change the contrast once it's scanned in.

I'm horrible at pricing, but you can usually get help in the art forums.

Everything looks alright. There are some things that could be fixed (like perspective angles) but that mostly comes from experience.

Pricing, I'd go with 10k tops on the chibis as they are now. What you should do when you scan them is open them in Photoshop and convert them to Grayscale. Then you'll adjust the levels until the background is very white and the lines very black (you might adjust the contrast after that but you shouldn't need to). Then you will take the eraser tool and clean up any spots outside the actual art. After that you'll need to clean up the lines, make them thinner and more crisp, stuff like that. You'll have to figure that out yourself, I dunno how.
After converting and changing the levels and a small bit a of cleanup (nothing has been done to the lines themselves).
See how much better it looks? That small bit of extra work could net you another 10 or 15k.
And then! Color it. Do all that and each piece could net you about 50k. 3nodding

I just have to play around in GIMP and get used to it before I'm able to to that. I miss Photoshop.
