The Dark Pack
In the deep wilds, where the trees twist together, entwined in a battle for light, the Dark Pack rules. Beneath heavy branches, the shadows are thick, the ground barely touched by daylight - and when night falls, even the creatures that usually venture forth are wary.
A howl cuts through the darkness, eyes gleam, catching a stray intrepid moonbeam, and then it’s gone. Find yourself lost here and you probably won’t make it out alive.
To outsiders, it’s a terrifying place.
But to the Dark Pack Werewolves, this is home.
The ancestral lands of those who carry the bloodline of Rafe, this land beautiful to those who know it well. The Dark Pack tends to move locations throughout the seasons, following the prey that move through their home with hesitant steps.
They prefer the darkness, keeping nocturnal habits, hunting at night and resting throughout the day. Their various home den’s are scattered across a mountainous forest, with many deep cliffs and gullies to disappear into. A network of caves, lit by strange luminous mushrooms, allows them to travel swiftly.
These caves are where they spend most of their resting time, on piles of furs, huddled together in comfortable piles. This is where they tell stories of long ago, old legends of mighty packs and epic battles against the vampire scourge.
The Dark Pack are mysterious. Great trackers and strong warriors that tend to keep to themselves and are rarely seen by strangers.
Cross into their territory with great caution.
