The above two cubs are up for a contest! They are part of a long plot that has been going on for a while and they are the missing part of the plot! These two are currently looking for homes and we're hoping we can find them!

Rules
1. Make sure you read all of the rules and the entire thread.
2. No not apply if you do not intend on RPING! - I cannot stress this enough.
3. No not apply if you plan on making the cub get cubnapped, run away or hate their parents. This is a very loving and caring family.
4. Cubs cannot leave until Adol.
5. Be polite do not guilt trip people!
6. You can enter for both but you may only win won!
7. Remember to read about the family! This is very important!

The above lions are the family that the cubs are going to live with. There is some serious drama going on in this family that is very important to know before carrying on and trying for one of the cubs.
They are all living in the roguelands. this will most likely not change.
Black Male- Nazar: Nazar is the father of the cubs. Nazar has had a interesting past, he lived in a pride with his brother, Bl'azra who he was very close with, Bl'azra and Nazar were very close with each other for most of their life. That is until he found out the cubs his mate, Dziko, was carrying was his brothers this all changed. Nazar went on a rampage trying to kill Bl'azra and Dziko, and successfully killing the cubs. After that Nazar wandered the roguelands meeting as many as possible having flings with various females including two which he had cubs with. He was happy until he learned that both Bl'azra and were still alive.
At the moment he wants revenge, he kidnapped his exmate, Dziko, and started to plan to kill his brother. Part of this was having a litter of cubs to have a son take over his spot. Which is where this litter comes in. He is training one of his sons to kill his brother.
Nazar is other wise a very great father. He has a short temper but does everything in his power not to take it out on his cubs. He is caring and would do anything for his cubs. -Played by Yin-bug
Lioness on Old lines- Dziko Dziko is Nazar's ex-mate. She has been currently kidnapped by Nazar and isn't allowed to leave the den much. She will be around the cubs but Nazar will be around when she is with the cubs keeping an eye on things she says and things she does. Played by DarkHeartedSorrows
Lioness on New Lines- Arrantixa Arr is the cub's half sister. She is from Nazar's first litter and is very much a daddy's girl. She doesn't want to leave her father's side, this is partly because over protective daddy has a hard time with the idea of males taking away her daughter. She is loving and caring and very sweet. She talks in the third person and the only time her temper flares up is when some one makes fun of her because of it. Arr normally is also very playful. She will have a large hand in raising the cubs, she loves siblings! Played by Yin-bug
White cub- Unnamed so far This cub is the cub that Nazar is training to kill his brother. He is strong, brave, upbeat and adventurous.
Important notes!
- Nazar will be killed when the cubs become an adolescent.
- Nazar is a great father and will raise his cubs carefully. However they will be raised with out knowing of his past and will be raised to think that Bl'arza is a bad guy, so there will be no father hating cubs! unless it is for a really interesting plot ;D
Other family!
Mom and brothers!- The cub's mom and brothers will be part of the family! They will be visiting their mom and brothers there for there will be chances to meet and RP with family!

Raimo (wise protector)
Username: Sunlit.rains
Personality: Raimo is a happy and cheerful little cub who tends to be a little bit full of himself sometimes. He's likely to be bouncing around playing energetically with whoever is handy, or chattering someone's ear off about whatever he finds the most interesting. Despite not seeming like he's paying attention, Rai is alway watching and listening and is likely to pick up on things others don't notice. He's also very protective of his sisters both the younger and his older half sister.
Prompt: 1
RP response: It hadn't taken Raimo long to notice that he was treated different in his family. He'd picked up on the fact that the girls were always going to get better treatment then him and his brother. That made sense to Rai though. Boys didn't need to be treated like princesses! They were tough, unlike girls who were smaller and needed to be protected and treated well.
Raimo had also noticed that his father often took his brother off for training. That didn't really bother him either though. As far as Rai saw it, his brother was taken off for training because he needed it, and Rai didn't. Rai thought he was pretty tough after all. So even though he didn't get much attention, it was no big deal. Rai figured he got the least because he needed it the least.
Seeing his father laying out in the sun, Raimos couldn't resist bouncing his way out to join him. Everyone else was asleep, so he figured it would be a good time to see if he could get some one on one time with his daddy. Crouching down low, Rai suddenly pounced on his father, scrambling to climb up on his head. "Hey Dad! Everyone's asleep so we should play or something! How come you're not asleep? What are you thinking about out here? Can we play hide and seek?" He hit his dad with a barrage of questions as he perched up on his father's head. He was going to enjoy this one on one time, he just knew it.
Any Plot ideas for the future? Raimos will likely grow up to continue to be very protective of his sisters and possibly his brothers as well. Depending on what happens I foresee him following one of them in whatever they decide to do in life. Someone would have to keep and eye on them after all.

Saaru (Noble lady, princess):
Username: Sunlit.rains
Personality: Saaru is a girly girl to the core. She tries her best to be what she perceives as lady like and proper all the time. Sometimes she comes off as a bit of a spoiled brat, but that's half because she doesn't know any better. The other half is because she can act that way. She tends to be optimistic in the way that she expects everything to go her way all the time, but is easily disappointed when they don't. She's not above lying or pretending to be upset to get things to go her way either.
Likes: Getting presents, her daddy, ordering her brothers around, shiny things
Dislikes: When things don't go her way, violence, dirt/mud/filth/etc, when people are mean to her
How she feels about family/life: She loves her family, especially her daddy and her brothers. She likes having a big sister to have girl time with sometimes too.
How does she feel being the only girl? She loves it. That way she gets all this attention, and pampering and protection. Saaru might complain about it sometimes but on the inside she knows she wouldn't want it any other way.
What does she think about her older sister? Saaru looks up to her and likes to spend time with her when she can. She thinks the talking in third person thing is a bit odd, but doesn't focus on it too much.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? She LOVES it. Saaru will try to get him to spoil her more whenever she can.
Interesting things: Saaru hates getting dirty with a passion. She will avoid it at all costs and if she can't avoid it she raises quite the fuss. If you tell her it doesn't matter because her coat is dark anyway, it just makes her even more upset.
Anything else Saaru will at some point start a collection of jewelry or trinkets either just to look at or decorate herself with.
Any plot ideas?: Saaru will likely stick close to one of her brothers after their father is killed. Either that or she'll go looking for her mother. She's not a very adventurous sort so she's not likely to want to go off all on her own and start a new life somewhere.

Atifa (Affection; Sympathy):
Username: ChezaRain
Personality: Atifa is the kind of girl who loves her father to the point of clinging to him like a leech on a daily basis. She completely rejects ideas of having to face the outside world someday, believing the only thing she needs is her father to keep her safe. Encountering anyone outside of her family puts her into a doll-like state, refusing to speak or even look the other animals in the eye unless she's glued to her father's foreleg and well-guarded. She's very impressionable and easily fooled, one of the main reasons she holds such a high guard over herself.
Likes: Being sheltered, her family, flowers, bugs, most typical girly things.
Dislikes: Being left alone, anyone she doesn't know
How she feels about family/life: She adores her family with all her heart, even though she doesn't know when or how to properly express it most of the time. She even has a liking to Dziko being around.
How does she feel being the only girl? It doesn't really matter to her, not that she notices to begin with. She prefers to spend her time with adults rather than roughhouse with her brothers.
What does she think about her older sister? She likes her, but to an extent. She finds her to be too nice most days.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? To be perfectly honest, she doesn't like it. She has simple taste, and doesn't need the extra doting... though she won't complain.
Interesting things: She likes lions by first impressions, which is usually she's scared of them.
Anything else She's suspicious of her father's training of her brother, but doesn't really think of it as odd except for the fact it's only ONE of her brothers.
Any plot ideas?: The first idea that came into my head was that after her father is killed, she would basically shut down or go ballistic. Perhaps in her younger life, she could take a liking to Dziko so when the time comes her father passes on, her first instinct is to run to her father's ex-mate. Whatever happens from there would have to be further plotted out, but Atifa would be easily swayed by what Dziko tells her, especially if she learns of her father's past at any point.

Kamau (quiet warrior)
Username: Aniia
Personality: Kamau is a bit of a mischievous cub, always playing silly games that normally end up getting him into trouble. He loves to tell stories, especially tales of bravery and adventure. Kamau puts off a brave front for his younger siblings, but deep down inside he’s afraid of the outside world. He feels safest when surrounded by his family, being the homebody he is.
It is very easy to rile Kamau up for a fun game of wrestling- it is one of his favorites to play. He also enjoys practicing his pouncing. He views his oldest sister as his main target, but really anyone or anything will suffice.
Fierce warrior by day and gentle coward by night, Kamau loves to snuggle up against his family members when it’s time for some shut eye. He won’t openly admit to being afraid of being alone.
Prompt: 1
RP response Kamau jumped as he woke himself up from his nightmare. His fears were soothed by the steady rise and fall of Arr’s side from the gentle breathing induced by her slumber. As he leaned against her, he noticed her coat was warm, only adding his newly gained sense of comfort. Nothing was going to get him, he was safe. He did not want to return to the dream world, for fear that the wild creatures baring their fangs, eyes glazed over with such a ferocious hunger, would seize him.
The young cub raised his head only to take notice of his father in the distance. The lion was far enough from the group to isolate himself from any disturbance, yet close enough to keep a firm watch. Kamau could not tell if Nazar was asleep, or just relaxing. The cub maintained his position against Arr for a while, before picking himself up to stumble clumsily away from the group. He made his way closer, examining his father.
Kamau’s thoughts began to flood his mind. He sat midway between his father and the others, letting a small sigh escape his muzzle. He frowned as he thought, picking up his right paw to swat frustratingly at some loose rocks embedded within the dirt beneath him. He glanced back at his siblings, taking note of his two sisters. He knew they were girls, but Nazar treated them as though they were precious gems that must remain unsoiled. But that was not what bothered poor Kamau.
The cub’s gaze came to rest on his young brother. How he coveted the way his father looked at him, spent so much time with him. How he longed to be held in such high reguard, to be taken out to train to become stronger. Did Nazar consider Kamau too weak?
At that, Kamau felt a deep void make its way further into his heart. If anyone was going to fill it, he decided that it would have to be himself. He would have to try harder to prove himself to his father. He was the oldest brother, after all, and did not want to shame Nazar. The cub would have to grab the antelope by the throat this time, so it seemed.
Kamau stood, and walked towards his father. He was so small compared to the full grown lion- Nazar was impressive to the young cub. He made sure to stand in front of Nazar so that he could maintain eye contact. Kamau was rarely serious, but this time he wanted to be taken seriously. He spoke loudly, with a burning fire in his eyes, they held determination at its finest, “Father… I want you to teach me. Train me to be better, stronger. Just like you.”
Any Plot ideas for the future? Kamau is a cowardly cub, but perhaps some life altering experience could harden him as he grows, making him a stronger individual. It will make him overprotective of his family perhaps.

Ooooh, I need to make a submission for each of them. I love their spots and the plot sounds really interesting! I'll set some time aside today to get started on entries. ^^ Thank you for running the contest, Yin!

Okay, so when the cubs are going to visit their mother, that would be Ni'andama (I went out and found who she was, because I was curious about where the blue came from, and totally missed that the "Mom and brothers" section was a link to YET MORE sexy babies. XD)? Are she and the three boys in the link living separately from Nazar and the cubs up for grabs?
I'm sorry I'm asking so many questions. sweatdrop I'm doing the second prompt for the boy, and it mentions Nazar taking him to visit his mom and brothers, so that sounded to me as if they were living separately. I just want to be clear in my response and not mess anything up. ^^

Name (and meaning!): Yasashiiko (Affectionate child)
Username: AikaTheDivine
Personality: Yasashiiko is a gentle, caring soul. She adores her brothers, and looks up to them more than anyone else. She is indeed a girly girl type, and also a daddys little girl. Yasa aimes to please, and often becomes jealous of the time her father invests into her brothers, although she tries very hard not to be. She would give anything for her family, and cannot imagine living a day without them. Yasa is also very curious of the world around her, despite how hard her father tries to keep her contained. Yasa takes bad news very, well badly. It freaks her out, and she doesn't know how the correct way deal with such news. In turn, she often does some strange things to cope.
Likes: Breezy days, flowers, although just being in the presence of her brothers is enough to make her brighten.
Dislikes: Mud, thunder, any stranger she may come across, and anyone or anything that may threaten her family, especially her brothers.
How she feels about family/life: Yasa could wish for nothing more. She is content and happy, although she would not protest a bit of drama ever now and again.
How does she feel being the only girl? Yasa loves being the only girl. It gives her the excuse more than once to be first at something, and to be excused from hard tasks. She might complain about her fathers and brothers 'over bearing protectiveness', but in the end, Yasa knows that she would wish for nothing more; it makes her feel safe.
What does she think about her older sister? Yasa loves her older sister. She may not be around much, but when she is, Yasa finds it nice to be able to 'talk girl' with her. While Arrantixa seems not to feel the same way as Yasa feels about her, Yasa's affection does not waver.
How does she feel about being spoiled by her father? Yasa tries not to be too open about how she feels about the attention, but she honestly loves it. Her father her feel safe, as if she never, EVER has to have a care in the world.
Interesting things: Yasa likes to keep her ears flattened. She knows how dangerous this may be, but she doesn't like to intrude on others conversations. She fears what she might hear.
Anything else She likes to brag about how incredible her brothers are to anyone she may cross. Yasa boasts about them freely. She is very proud.
Any plot ideas?: Nothing comes to mind currently, but in the event of her fathers death, she will most likely go in a downward spiraling depression; only speaking to her brothers, and ALWAYS wishing to be near them. Someone, not necessarily a future mate, will of course be able to snap her out of this.
