Life was no short of stressful for the young noble. Only recently fullgrown, she had found herself completely scared of telling her parents of her non-noble mate.
She wasnt sure how they would take it, and all it did was frustrate her. Why did she have to deviate from their plans for her? She had gone and allowed herself to fall in love
with someone who had no future, or at least.. not to the prides eyes. She was a noble by blood, the sparkling purple along her pelt proof enough. Purple was where it was at,
and all the lions who were lions donned purple on their pelts. Even if not in great multitude, just having it was a plus. She paced back and forth, waiting for Mauwi to come
to her. Waiting for him was becoming increasingly scarier, and yet.. when it was time to leave she wasnt ready to leave. Not at all. She sighed, frowning as she stopped pacing,
lifting her head to the treeline.
Her tail swept side to side, her eyes keen and waiting. They were black, as black as her pelt, yet they still held that gleam of life, and the fear of being caught. She had promised
to be his mate.. She had promised. She couldnt turn back now. It would be wrong, immoral, and completely not what she wanted. She wanted Mauwi in her life forever, even if it meant
upsetting her parents and mating below her bloodline. Court didnt matter much to her when it got in the way of her idea of love. Her heart pounded a bit when she heard the approach of
footsteps, and she met his eyes.

"Zee.." He whispered, his eyes happy as they landed on her. His face softened, and he stepped closer, wrapping her in a hug with his chin. He always loved meeting her, and he was sure
this was far more dangerous to her than it was for him. She was beign judged by the life she led.. He, would be praised for actually acheiving the royal's affections. She was beautiful, her
pelt clean, soft.. He could hide in her eyes forever, and just cuddle into her until the day he died. He smiled, his tail swaying side to side as he let it linger along her back leg.
"I've missed you." He said, his voice that raw passion he had been holding lately. She knew it was because he loved her, wanted to mate to her, produce cubs, but she still wasnt too sure.
She wasnt about to bear cubs to him yet, it was far too much to handle for her. She wasnt ready to deal with that kind of trama with her parents..

"Mauwi." She purred, loving on him and licking his cheek. Sure he purred for her affection, but she called the shots. She loved him more than anything, and she trusted him just as much.
"I missed you sweetheart.." He said, his voice turning to a soft loving tone. He cared for no one but her, and his heart ached that he would be the one that hurt her family's view on her.
However he saw no real need to have any sort of status. He was a budding artisan, making jewelry and necklaces from prize shells and stones he would find through the lands.

"I missed you too. This sneaking around is too much on my nerves." She sighed, sitting and letting him step closer to her. She snuggled into his chest, looking at him with worry in her eyes.
If they didnt figure this out.. If she didnt figure this out.. What would happen to them? Where would they be afterwards? Would she let her family tell her who she had to mate to? Of course not.
She was far too strongwilled to give in just because her parents wanted her to. She looked into his bright golden eyes and smiled, though the smile was soft.

"Yeah.. Sneaking around has to be difficult on you. I know how hard it is to not be able to tell others that Im mated to the most beautiful female in the pride. I dont like not being able to brag
about you being my own." He said, putting his paws around her, drawing her in.

She looked at him with a bit of fire and narrowed her eyes. She knew he hadnt meant it the way it sounded, but her anxiety just did nothing to soothe her temper these days. She kept her gaze on him,
and spoke.
"Oh, you want to brag about snagging a noble, eh? Tell them how awesome you must be because your mate has a bit of purple." She growled, though it wasnt a truly angry growl. She had understood, and if
she hadnt, she would have never have been able to stay mad at Mauwi.

He backpedaled quickly, stammering and looking upset. How could she have thought that? That didnt even make sense. Her being noble or purple had nothing to do with the love he had for that female. He looked
at her and shook his head, trying to soothe her more than be upset with her for having thought that.
"Of course not, Zee. Come on. When has that ever mattered to me?" He asked, sincerity clear in his eyes. Daizee looked into his eyes, sighed and let the anger free. She shook her head, her bangs hanging in her eyes.
"No.. I know that. Im sorry Mauwi. Everythings so stressful, I just need some me time. Im sorry." She repeated, and hoped he knew she meant it. All this hostility with the pressure of finding a noble, and actually
loving someone else ?That was something she really didnt care for.

"Well take me time now, and ignore this. Ig nore it all. We're right here, we're safe, we're happy. We're free for right now. Close your eyes, and let your mind take us somewhere else. Somewhere where we wont be judged
for who we love."
He whispered in her ear, and licked her cheek. He wouldnt have her fretting, not on his watch. He snuggled tighter against her, if that was even possible, and began purring.

"Youre right.. I love you Mauwi.. Ill close my eyes, and we will be free."
