I came to the conclusion that it is a sin bc u think about that stuff, but what im trying to say is, is it something major like adultery bc its just the same thing but virtually?

They did it without actually 'touch' each other - but it is still called as 'adultary' ('zina').
my senior told me once, zina can be done either by direct adultary, or by indirect - example for indirect zina include watching porns, or think about it..

From what i heard, there is an AlQuran sentences saying that never to be near anything that's connected to zina (adultary for example..).
