Anyone else think this was in poor taste?

I mean this event? I have no issue with kitty faces and the name change but the fake firings? That's to... close as far as I'm concerned. I'm still upset about Noraboo, White Joker and the others who lost their jobs in November, and I know their are others who feel the same way I do. I wasn't that close friend wise to them, but close enough that this just... it's not right.

I know it's a joke Narumi Misuhara's journal gave that away before he(?) was 'fired' but that doesn't make it any easier to stomach.

Kitty stuff fine, but to fake fire people? It's almost like making everyone else who lost their jobs be seen as a joke as well.

What I find in poor taste is the PROJECTILE VOMIT ANIMATED ITEM.

It's everywhere in the forums I like, and now I don't wanna go there
just because of that ******** item. 8(

I wish I could turn that cat thing off at the very least. I avoided Gaia all yesterday because I didn't want to deal with this thing.

As for fake firings, that's low. And very childish.

I have animations turned off so thankfully I can't see the vomit item in action. Hopefully it will go the way of the Epic Fail Hat and like fade away when people get bored of it.

I don't think I've ever had an event upset me before, I've complained they didn't put enough work into them (offline of course), but not been this upset.

There was a vomit item that animates? Oo I never seen it (and thankfully, I did not..), and while the cats were okay, they became a bit annoying for a while - especially with our avatar heads being replaced by a big cat head. Mine looked like it had a "Derp" face.
