Squirrels can be tamed, and they make awesome out doors pets.
I had a pet squirrel, her name was Chip. ( I was 8 ) Anyways, I found her after a storm. A tree branch had fallen on her leg. I picked her, up in a towel, and brought her to the vet. He, put her broken leg in a splinter for me, cause I told him I was going to care for it.
And I did, for 6 weeks. She followed me around everywhere, when I was outside. And when I came home from school, she would be waiting for me.
After she healed, she went back to where she came from but still came to visit me.
