So we have the thing "The use of the word wicca" that tells you all about wicca. Do we have one of those for paganism? My friend is looking into it and i want her to be sure she knows what shes getting into before she decides to switch religions

There wouldn't be much to write. Paganism is just any religion that isn't Abrahamic. What else can one say?

She might want to read through the first few posts of the Pagans on Gaia thread. It gives an overview of various Pagan religions, and concepts, but as San said, there really is no unified "Pagan" religion.
